Sandy is a homebred rising 5 year old, ID x TB mare

She is by Gentle Diamond who has Diamond Lad and the great Sea Crest in his pedigree and show jumped to a very good level himself.

Sandy was backed and ridden away last year as a 4 year old, just hacking, light school work and introduced to poles. She has now been professionally produced for the last 6 weeks. Sandy has a lovely kind trainable temperament, making her a pleasure to work with, she always tries hard to please and is happily working in a soft round outline. She has three very good, straight balanced paces

Sandy loves to jump, she naturally makes a good shape over her fences and so far is proving to be bold and careful

Sandy happily hacks on the road and around the woods, jumping fallen trees and water filled ditches with out hotting up or becoming strong. She is totally unfazed by traffic

We have travelled her now on a number of occasions and she loads and travels really well

She has attended Rother valley RC training clinics, where she has happily worked in groups of other horses without becoming silly

Sandy is beautifully put together, she has no lumps, bumps or blemishes.

This smart little mare has a very exciting future ahead of her as a 15.2hh small hunter / working hunter type, she would make a super intermediate show horse. Or a  lovely riding club all rounder, with enough ability to make a super event horse / show jumper and a very exciting prospect for BYEH  and 5 year old classes this year
