Looking for a safe and sensible 14.2/15.2 hh gelding (native type or light weight cob preferred) 8 - 15 yrs for hacking and schooling, possibly low level jumping due to having a riding accident last year and then losing my horse of 7 years.

Horse would want for nothing and be kept on large livery yard with excellent facilities including indoor/outdoor/jumping arenas as well as plenty of off road hacking. It is important that horse can be walked through fields on the buckle end as well as enjoying schooling as the winters are long!

Happy to travel within 150 miles of Skipton, North Yorkshire.

• Apple Jack is an 11yr old 13hh piebald gelding.

He is 1000% to do in all ways, he has done a bit of everything including hacking, xc, sj, pc, fun rides etc.

He is a simple straight forward ride who is never strong or silly.

He is much more of a kick along type pony than a whizzy pony. He’s laid back but not stubborn. He is never spooky and is great in the heaviest of traffic.

Apple Jack will happily stand for hours to be groomed and pampered and is handled by children daily. He is good to load, catch, with the farrier etc.

There is no bad words I could say about this pony and he does genuinely deserve to find his best friend.

Llanwnwnr Bramble - Bramble, a gorgeous Welsh part bred rising 5. Stood at 14.3 approx (rider is 6.3) She has a fantastic temperament taking absolutely everything in her stride in a really genuine way.

Bramble was broken in at the end of last year since then she has been hunting with the Pembrokeshire, arena hires and group rides.

Has been riding out well alone and in company, never silly or strong. She is mannerly on the ground and travels well in the trailer. She is shod in front and is great for the farrier.

Full history known as came directly from her breeder as a yearling. Bramble also bred a beautiful filly also which is available to view.

A super potential allrounder/ riding club / pony club / happy hacker for someone to make their own.

Fluffy Doug

Rising 5 year old 153cm green book passported Connemara gelding. Lovely breeding, by annaghmore ginger (westside mirah lines), out of tasty Mia. Bought directly from his breeder so full history known.

Doug has been a pleasure to have around. He will stand for hours being groomed and fussed over.

He loves hacking out and will happily go first or last, but is still green so does take confidence from his rider. Doug has been brought on slowly and correctly, allowing him time to grow and develop. He has mainly hacked, done light schooling and popped coloured poles, proving to be very natural over a fence.

Doug isn't the type of horse that needs to be in consistent work, you can give him a couple of weeks off, and you will get back on the same pony! He is up to date with vaccinations, physio, dentist etc. and is good to box, clip, shoe etc.

Doug is looking for a best friend, but equally, someone who can give him confidence, as he is green and still learning. For this reason he is not suitable for a novice. Doug is going to be a cracking pony and will go very far in the right hands!

He has been very carefully produced since he was backed at 4 year old and enjoys absolutely everything.

Every unaffiliated dressage he has finished with a red rosette and has recently began jumping and absolutely loves it.

I personally think he would look fantastic in the show ring

He is a very straight mover and has now began lateral work.

He’s not silly or spooky, has never reared bucked or bolted.

He is up to date with everything and great with the farrier and great to travel.

Very responsive and schooled well. Loads on a main road , bombproof , loves hacking and riding out, done SJ , really good jumps 70cm with a novice.

Barefoot , had dentist, vaccinations up to date, selling due to being outgrown by current owner.

Would make good mother daughter share , he does go better with a competent rider to get the best out of him, but looks after a novice also. But to jump well and get full potential out of him will do well with a competent rider.

Needs his new loving home very soon. Good to catch/clip/shoe/load.

Great to do, I go to shows on my own and he walks into trailer stands tied up happily.

He is a proper fun pony, has been ridden by a variety of levels he does enjoy life and can do a cheeky buck or a spook if feeling fresh but nothing bad and perfectly sittable has been on fun rides and an absolute saint happy to go first or last and not excitable at all .

He is a character who has excelled in dressage and would love to do more jumping which isnt really my thing! would suit a mother daughter share, small adult or second pony.

Up to date with everything. Great to catch, load, farrier (barefoot), physio, vet.

Bear is a fantastic, true to type, hairy cob with a leg in each corner! He is always happy to see you, will stand to be groomed all day and loves cuddles.

To ride he is forward and responsive off the leg (until the batteries run out!), he is green but willing in the arena and developing well.

His 'negative', if you like, if he can get a little tense when mounting (but does stand), and can sometimes shoot off if too much pressure is put on. He isn't malicious etc and is an easy ride for a competent jockey but not for a novice. This goes with consistency.

Overall a lovely kind cob who, with a bit more consistency, will excel in whatever he does.

Quality horse, excellent conformation, chunky and comfortable ride, makes the rider feel safe. He belongs in the show ring! 3 expressive, uphill paces, bold and scopey jump. Jumped coloured and rustic fences including fillers, proving to be brave and bold.

Hacks in company, haven't tried alone yet but don't think he will be an issue, we've just wanted to give him good experiences out with older horses. Great in traffic, not the spooky type.

Mac is a lovely affectionate horse, he came to us in the autumn to be produced and he has been an absolute pleasure to do and have. One of the easiest horses to back and ride away. He doesn't need riding everyday, he is no different if he's had a few days off or worked everyday.

Loads and travels well, good for the farrier and dentist. No vices. Ready to go and have fun with someone willing to continue producing him.

13.3hh 6yo Irish cob gelding

Very loveable and easy to do in all ways on the ground

Brogan has recently been with us on schooling livery for the last few months for his owner, unfortunately he isn’t quite what his owner is looking for so he’s come back to find a new home

He has 3 nice floaty paces, decent stride for his size. Schools nicely very easy of the leg, type you just gently squeeze and you move up the gaits

Brogan really enjoys his jumping and Polework, popping up to 80cm with us with more to give

Brogans only fault is that he can shoot forward a few paces when riding, now if you are confident and just carry on riding these are very few and far between, if you are nervous he will feed off it so for this reason we are looking for someone quite confident to give him the best of homes

Mainly for hacking out on Dartmoor; I would do some basic schooling.

We own a 3.84 acre field in very good condition with natural and artificial shelter; the cob will need to live out.

As with our last 3 equines, it would be a home for life.

Perdey is a lovely forward going mare who is well schooled on the flat. She’s done a range of activities and is very versatile.

We have taken part in pleasure rides and endurance up to 28km, with EGB and SERC. She has great stamina - endurance riding is where she could really excel.

She's also done unaffiliated showjumping and is very balanced round a course with a lovely jump. She’s done lots of pole work and is also good over grids and bounces.

She is good in open spaces and sensible at new venues - altogether a fun and trainable horse who has much to give.

Perdey takes confidence from her rider so would be best suited to a more experienced adult rider. She would be ideal as a small adult riding club horse/general all rounder.

She has been in the same home for 7 years and is only available due to personal reasons.

Up to date and good to do for all shoeing, vaccinations, teeth, etc.

Looking for around £6,000 but this is negotiable to the right long term home. Tack available.
