Beautiful 3 year old silver bay mare. Standing at just over 14hh now, but with plenty of growing to do, should easily make 14.2/14.3hh.

Very well handled, good to lead, happy to tie up, has had her feet trimmed regularly. Has been in a lorry and trailer and walked straight into both and traveled well. Happily turns out with mares or geldings, easy to have around.

Will stand all day to be pampered and groomed, a really lovely temperament and a blank canvass ready for someone to continue her education.

Up to date with worming and vaccinations.

  • A real yard favourite

Very easy to do in all ways and a respectful sort to be around. Naturally well balanced in her paces, with a good canter & hind leg. Genuine, trainable & plenty of talent.

Bold, brave & scopey horse. Currently training around showjumps at 80/90cm, Willow is green & a little wobbly in places, in her way of going, but has all the right attributes to progress through the ranks quickly in any given sphere. She has a super trainable brain, extremely genuine & a willing temperament.

Willow has a massive heart, & with more mileage on the clock she is sure to give her all at whatever she does.

She is super safe & the sort you don’t come across every day.

A real yard favourite that always puts a smile on everyone’s face. I’m sure she is going to make someone else as happy as she makes us!

Has hunted, xc schooled & been to training shows in Ireland prior to being imported.

Hacks alone & in company, training shows, hunted, load, clip & shoe.

Fantastic nature to do in & out of her stable, easy, sensible & not a “latchy” sort to other horses.

Extensive video link attached

Serious enquires only.

Open to any vet.

Based in Windsor, Berkshire, UK.

Beautiful 15hh homozygous traditional mare, with an abundance of feather and bone.

The best tempered mare you could ever wish for, foals easily and nurses her foals very well.

No vices, good to do in every way. Will stable or live out. Very good doer.

She has bred some stunning stock, last bred filly can be seen with us.

Extremely difficult sale, she will only go to the best of homes and if the right home doesn’t come along she will stay. She last foaled in July 2022, she was then left barren due to wanting to give her the year off. Then due to myself falling pregnant she was given last year off.

She’s currently in season (24/04/24). She had full clean swabs done before we naturally covered her in 2021.

A mare of this type, build, temperament and guaranteed to breed colour is not often seen on the market.

Please no time wasters or dealers, she will only go to a private breeder. Homes will be vetted and references will be required.

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

Allrounder with lots of potential! Beautifully marked 15.1hh, 7yrs cob X ISH gelding.

Competed successfully SJ, arena eventing and arena XC. Always in the ribbons, also qualifying for the national championships for arena eventing. Has been competing at 70/80cm but has plenty of scope and ability to go higher. Enjoys his jumping and isn’t fazed by fillers, ditches, water etc…… and jumps without hesitation.

Has done all pony club activities including regular rallies, camp, farm rides and XC.

Will produce a super test, works well on the flat with lots of potential.

Good to hack and excellent in traffic but prefers company. Excellent to load. Good for farrier ( never had shoes/very hardy feet), good to clip etc….. and up to date with vaccinations.

Despite Hawkeyes’s very impressive CV he still has so much more to give and has got tonnes of potential with the right rider.

He is not suitable for a nervous or novice rider. He will test the rider and can be nappy. Therefore he is only suited to an adult who has the experience and confidence to produce him further and bring out the best in him. He could be a very special horse but needs the right home and rider.

Has got potential to do well low level BE, BD, showing and would make a superb hunt horse.

Homebred gelding, rising five (b. 08/06/19), 15hh. Good conformation and paces, lots of bone, excellent correct feet (currently barefoot). Would show. Leads, loads, good with farrier. He was backed in Spring 2023 and hacked out last summer and autumn, then turned away for the winter. Only just back in work again which is reflected in the price.

This lovely boy is bold, energetic and forward-going - he is pretty sane and has a good brain but he needs firm, consistent handling and regular work to keep him ticking over. Used to living out most of the time. Hacks happily in company, has jumped small obstacles. Would suit a keen, experienced Pony Clubber/Riding Clubber, a hunting/endurance/trail-riding home or professional type yard. He is NOT suitable for a nervous/novice rider as he is still green and can sometimes throw a buck (high spirits rather than anything nasty).

Reluctant sale only due to lack of time and facilities at home to take his education to the next stage. Must go to experienced, knowledgeable, preferably long-term home.

Vaccinations etc up to date. Passported and micro-chipped.

Price includes good quality, professionally fitted saddle. Photos of dam can be seen.

Grassroots eventer/ quality all rounder

16/16.1hh. Irish Sport Horse. Quality Skewbald. Mare, Rising 14 years.

Experienced eventer.
Forward off the leg, not strong, very responsive up and down the gears.
Kind temperament.

Hanry Patch (Delilah) loves to jump! She is awesome xc, forgiving, brave, forward and has plenty of years left in her to either show someone the ropes eventing or for someone more experienced to have some real fun on her!

Delilah is a gentle, experienced horse with a confident demeanour. She is very level-headed and has good understanding of how to work with a rider. She is extremely well-mannered and easy to handle.

Delilah has had 3 homes and has always been extremely well cared for. In her first home she was lightly hunted, then she moved a teenager who owned her for 6 years and took her from fun rides to eventing successfully at 90.

Hacking Delilah is a delight. She hacks really well alone or in company. Traffic, farm vehicles and going under motorway bridges doesnt bother her at all. She is also sensible in open space and just does what you ask her to. You can also leave her for a few days without her getting fresh.

On the flat, Delilah is balanced and correct. She is well established in 3 paces as well as in basic lateral work.

She is careful and forgiving when she Showjumps, she likes a forward rhythm without being strong and will find the strides for you. She's happy with fillers, water trays and ditches. Always brave and bold.

Up to date with vaccinations, dentist, shoes and physio.

Delilah is sound, fit and ready to go! She will be entered up for some events until she is sold.

She has two saddles that have been professionally fitted and a bridle, plus rugs that can be discussed.

Delilah would suit a variety of homes, from grassroots eventing, riding club, dressage, showing or hunting, she is the ultimate alrounder. A loving owner and good home is very important. Sad sale of this much loved horse. No novices please.

BEAR

Outstanding 2018 Irish bay gelding standing at 17hh. This beautiful boy has it all, an absolute class model, with a lovely step, endless scope and plenty of hunting experience. Bear has hunted in Ireland with the Leitrim and Sligo Harriers, he’s been used as a whips horse but is also well hunted in the field. This lad will cross any country, any hedge, wall ditch or rail, he’s got it covered.

Despite being exceptionally talented jumping, Bear is a very easy ride and makes everything feel like light work. He’s got three comfortable paces on the flat, a lovely soft snaffle mouth and he will ride off your voice. Bear is as bold with coloured fillers as he is rustic, he’s careful, will go off any stride and doesn’t mind if you miss him or get it wrong, he is extremely confidence giving over fences and jumps for fun.

He has showjumping experience and has also done a few hunter trials. If you’re looking for a jumping horse or a hunter / Allrounder which will give you complete confidence then Bear is the one.

He is fantastic to hack out alone and in company, super in open spaces, isn’t bothered about horses cantering past him etc.

Unbothered completely by traffic / farm machinery etc.

Bear is just a solid Allrounder / hunter who is safe, easy and wants to please. Open to any vet or trainer.

We haven’t hunted him but he hacks out happily on his own or in company happy in front, behind or alongside other horses and has proved to be footsure in this winters wet and muddy conditions.

He is grand with our dogs so we are confident that we will take to the hunting field with pleasure

Smurf has 3 active rhythmical paces. He loves his jumping and is enthusiastic without being strong

He tries his very best in all of his ridden work and is very keen to please

Unfazed by traffic big or small and is perfect to clip shoe catch and travel

He has been out to group lessons, farm rides, solo showjumping arena hire and has been fabulous every time

This very special boy is now looking for his 5 * forever home

Para Dressage loan horse

Ref #: 341986
  • Wanted by Grade 4 GB Para rider
  • Wanted by Grade 4 GB Para rider

Sadly, my lovely mare is going to be out of action for several months
I am a Grade 4 GB Para Dressage rider looking for a loan horse in which to compete on Internationally
Sadly, with vets fees I am unable to finance buying a new horse at the moment

So I’m looking for an owner who would like to come on my Para journey with me

I can provide a horse a home on my own land with direct access to a bridlepath. I have my own 20 x 40 arena and my kitchen and bedroom look out directly onto my fields. My trainer is located on the other side of the village and I am a short distance from 4 BD venues

What am I looking for?
A smaller dressage horse, needs to have a nice disposition. I am very calm and need a horse to reflect that in their nature.
3 good paces and preferably working at least to Elementary level
I would be quite happy to take on an older Schoolmaster/ schoolmistress
Must be polite and needs to stand still at the mounting block
Absolutely no buckers or rearers
Hack on own and in company

Cobs are very welcome
No stallions ( I have a mare)

If there is someone out there who would like to see their horse compete Internationally then please come and join my journey
I am located just outside Newbury, Berkshire
