Extremely sad sale of a horse I have owned since a 4yo. He is the sweetest stallion to handle and a pleasure to have on the yard. He is a Russian breed known as an Achal Tekkiner Part-Bred and they are mostly known for being dressage horses.

Unfortunately he is not brave enough to event to the level I compete at and after a bad fall in 2022 I decided he would be happier showing off how handsome he is! With a full time job I don’t have time to do dressage competitions with him so he is wasted with me and I struggle to get to BD. He’s a very special horse and I think the world of him, he is extremely trainable on the flat and he now has his three and two time changes nailed and the ones are coming along. He has the most incredible canter and finds it extremely easy to sit on his hocks to do canter pirouettes. I have struggled to teach him piaffe and passage, but this is due to my lack of knowledge in this area, I am just an eventer!

I really believe that he has medal winning potential for the juniors or young riders. He loves to perform for people and is at his best when he feels all eyes are on him! Perfect for a competitive youth rider, although not for a novice or nervous rider as he Is bright eyed and can spin when at home if he sees something he thinks is scary, although he has never done this at a competition.

He has been hunting over multiple seasons and is impeccably behaved. Will stand on a lorry all day and you wouldn’t know he is there, he has never covered a mare, so he is unaware of what they are and I’ve never once known him distracted when riding because of them.

Harley is a 12 year old small Oldenburg gelding who has been at the same home for the last ten years.

He is currently competing at PSG and training Inter 1 at home. He is also playing with half steps at home, so definitely has the aptitude to move to the higher levels.

He has had successful results at Premier Leagues, High Profile Shows and Regional Championships at Advanced Medium with multiple placings, and has won Petplan Area Festival Championships at PSG level.

He is a very experienced competition horse with an extensive BD record. He is good to travel, stay away from home and very straightforward to look after with no health issues.

He is competition fit and ready go. This is a very sad sale as I have now completed University and I am working away from home so no longer have the time to be spend with him for him to reach his full potential.

Bally started his career as a event horse so has had lots of exposure which is a great grounding for a dressage horse

He is very easy off the aids but not at all lazy he is light to the contact and is very comfortable to sit to and so balanced in canter you could sit there all day !

He is working towards medium level at home and showing lots of potential for the more advanced work

I can take him to competitions on my own on a trailer / lorry / or 3.5t he will travel alone or in company and he will stand happily while you have a cup of tea

He is no trouble to do anything with clip / shoe / tack up / lunge etc .....

At home he is happy to stand in or be turned out in the field

To add to all this he has the sweetest nature loves having a fuss and a head rub and is just generally a lovely horse to have around

This wonderful mare is only for sale as our daughter is at university and we have no jockey for her. Currently in a friend's professional yard keeping fit and working well, this honest and capable mare has recently discovered her love of dressage. On her first four BD competitions (Preliminary and Novice) she earned a first and three seconds, was awarded 17 BD points and scoring in the high sixties every time.

She will continue to compete, working towards her regional tickets, whilst for sale. With three superb paces, lots of natural ability, exciting potential and a willingness to work well on the flat, she has so much more to give. She will be continuing her schooling to move up through the discipline.

This versatile mare has previously competed with our teenage daughter, in a snaffle, at both PC and NSEA eventing and show jumping, representing PC and School teams at regional level, as well as all the usual PC rallies, camps, hunter trials, arena eventing, shows and fun rides across open country over the moor, proving to be mannerly, fun and safe.

She has an easy jump with huge scope and a natural ability that makes her a confident and enjoyable ride, particularly cross country. She's happy to hack out and has no problems in traffic, as well as good to shoe, box, clip and with the vet. Has lived with both mares and geldings and easygoing and straightforward to do in the stable. This lovely mare tries her heart out for you and is nothing but honest in her approach to all her work.

“Disneyland” or Dinky needs no introduction. I have owned this horse for 5 and a half years and he was my first “horse” after having ridden my pony on the U16 European Dressage team. He was a great step up on to horses and we won our first Keysoe CDIJ together in March 2019. Covid and my attendance to Durham University hindered my competing massively, but upon my graduation last summer we have achieved so much, Advancing to PSG and Inter I and scoring as high as 71% and 69.+% at these levels.

Dinky is a through and through International Junior horse that could take his rider to the next COH/Junior Europeans and beyond to CDIYRs across the UK and Europe. Equally he would suit an amateur lady wanting to learn the tricks - his changes are push button and he would compete Nationally from Advanced Medium to Small Tour Level easily. Despite being about 164cm he takes up leg so could be ridden by someone bigger or smaller (i’m 5’6”). Dinky can also be razzled dazzled up or be let down depending on the sort of ride that is required by his owner - he can do it all! He has made me into the rider I am today and he really is my heart horse. He is not spooky at competitions; is super consistent in the arena; would come out everyday for you at home and work, work, work; he is fit, spritely, strong and does not feel 15 at all, with many competitive years ahead of him; he will hack, box, shoe, clip, no vices. Sound as a pound and never sick or sorry. More than that however, he is a kind person to have around the stable with a huge personality, making him a firm favourite with everyone he meets.

My main reason for this heartbreaking choice to advertise Dinky is due to a personal financial issue. I will absolutely never lease or loan him - he will either carry on his competitive career with me or go to someone new.
