We Bought this pony as a project, but We have kept him a while as he is so lovely. He is paddock and travel companion who calms our mare. He is easy to keep and just adorable and very sweet to have around. But My daughter competes horses we need to find him the best home.

Has several placings in BS horse sections including a win at Northcote Stud and recently a 3rd place in the British Novice.

He has not had much schooling, he loves hacking he has done x country and loved it was bold. He is not fazed by fillers.

He is super sweet loves cuddles! Good as gold for farrier, dentist physio etc. easy to clip etc.

Recently we took him to the gallops and he was sensible. He enjoys getting out to shows and does well.

He is sensitive and can be strong and sharp if the rider is unbalanced he is never nasty but might run if he’s nervous if the rider.

We want to find him a quiet rider with experience brining on sensitive ponies. He is good bareback he has been ridden Bitless no issues he loves people and comes to you in the field and follows you in arena he is just so sweet and also talented He had so much untapped potential !

True, to type pony that has been slowly produced for a keen confident young rider.

This year he has qualified NSEA 80-85cms Show Jumping champs, 75cms Arena Evening (Hickstead) and RC Arena Eventing all with 12 year old rider.

With older teenager he is competing 90-100cms.

He is a bold forward thinking pony, not phased by fillers, banners or people around arena.

Excellent ground manners children can do it all by themselves with him, load, catch, tack up, groom etc.

Hacks alone or in company and will go over natural ditches, up banks and go where told!

No vices, good in traffic including farm machinery, can clip without the need for sedation, currently bare foot as has good strong feet.

Does suffer very mild sweet itch which is very easily managed.

Tommy Shelby is a wonderful example of traditional connemara pony. He is a substantial, with plenty of bone and a leg in each corner. He has a beautiful head, clean limbs with a wonderful attitude and temperament to match! He is a much sought after over height and is a good physically Strong pony!

Tommy hacks alone or in company, he never naps and is as bomb proof as they come in traffic including Lorrie’s and motorbikes. He is well behaved in fields and doesn’t light up or buck.

He is working v well on the flat, he rides in a consistent outline and is v willing to learn. He is forward enough off the leg but is never hot or sharp spooky. Tommy Shelby has been to dressage tests and was v good with the boards and not at all phased with the warm up or going into the arena. He is an old head on young shoulders! He will be a fabulous riding club or BD dressage candidate with further production.

He has done 3 light days trail hunting. Just an hour out each time, behaved immaculately and then was happy to leave the field and hack home alone/do gates off him etc. He stood at the meet and happily around a cover.

Tommy Shelby has been schooling at arena hire and was foot perfect. He doesn’t stop, or spook, and will always try and give everything a go. He isn’t clingy to his friends at the lorry. It was extreme wind and there were fences falling down and fillers blowing over which he wasn’t phased by any of.

Tommy is learning his trade jumping! He is never bothered by fillers or spooky poles/wings/water trays/ditches. He is popping small courses and proving just the most genuine little horse ever! He goes straight into water and doesn’t ever think ‘no’. He is being carefully and considerately produced for his age and to not spoil his generous nature.

He has a fabulous book, all class 1 breeding including Moy Hazy Cove and Westside Mirah.

He is wonderful with children both on the ground and all over him! He is an absolute pet to deal with, a total pleasure to have around and an absolute true family pony, as well as oozing quality and presence!

He will suit a multitude of homes be it for performance to be produced for WH / dressage or to be someone’s best friend and horse of a lifetime.

He is only shod in front but only due to not needed hinds at this time. He is good to shoe, clip, load, travel, bath.

He has no vices or blemishes or health issues. Open to any vetting.

A very talented pony who has a great attitude. A kind lady with an extremely trainable brain.

She is currently jumping rounds of 90cm/1m with ease and has the scope to go higher. Bold, brave and honest to fences, goes off any stride. She loves jumping! Adores XC.

She has been lightly hunted which she throughly enjoyed. Stands beautifully at the meet and is great with hounds.

Olive has three lovely paces on the flat with a supple mouth. Never wrong with excellent brakes.

She hacks out alone or in company and is quiet in traffic (has passed buses, lorries, tractors, motorbikes, cars, etc). Has been on family group hacks - looking after novice dad at the end of the buckle!

Olive has a great mind and always wants to please. She has been handled by children in the 18 months that we’ve owned her - leading her in and out of the field, on and off the walker, tack up, groom, etc. She loads and travels well in a horse box by herself or with others.

May (Hoodwinked) - 147.5cm 14 year old mare

May is a forward going all rounder who is perfect to do in all ways; loads and travels well (trailer or lorry), catch, clip, bath, lunge and shoe.
She is up to date with teeth and all vaccinations.

Showjumping -
This is where she excels - May has jumped up to BS senior discovery, jumping all over the southwest successfully. She has numerous placings up to 1 metre as she is quick against the clock in juniors but can also make the strides in senior classes. She looks after her rider whilst jumping as she is experienced and knows her job. She has competed at Bluechip, Royal Cornwall show and in the Bury Farm bareback challenge.
May has also hunted in her previous home as well ODE’s and WHP, where she has a great conformation and way of going for the RIHS/HOYS working hunter.

She loves cross country and never stops at a fence, she is a bold and brave pony.

Flatwork -
May has 3 lovely, forward paces where she holds a beautiful and consistent collection throughout all her gates. She has quick transitions and is soft in the mouth.

Fusion came over from Ireland off a very reputable breeder 2022, was backed and riding away by an amateur rider from spring 2023, he did a little walk trot and cantering in the school and hacking out to allow him to see the world, following this fusion had most of the winter off and was left to be a horse.
