This lovely, straight forward pony has successfully competed and been placed at BE 80 in 2015 & 2016. In 2016 completed at BE 90 with double clear, PC Areas – dressage/SJ/eventing in 2016. She is an active pony club pony member being in teams and been to camp in 2015 and 2016.

She is clever and neat, so never knocks her fences and always helps her rider out cross country and SJ. This honest pony has been with us since she was 4, brought on by a rider who is now 14. She has a superb temperament with good stable manners, honest and polite in every way and the rider does everything herself.

She is very sensible, good in traffic, will hack on her own or in company. Snaffle mouthed, excellent to shoe, clip, catch, and travel. Does well in or out.
Good conformation, 3 lovely straight paces in a well established outline
Classic athletic jump, rarely having a pole down.

Competed in PC Countryside Challenge at Devon County Show.

Been hunting

This made pony is ready to take her next child or rider on in any discipline.

Very sadly for sale as rider moving on to horses. 5 star home essential. Home more important than price.

Mockbeggar Sandpiper is a 14.2hh, 7yr old dapple grey new forest X, gelding. Well put together, handsome and eye catching. Always attracts positive comments.

He has attended pony club and riding club rallies, including summer residential camp. He has competed in all disciplines, currently regularly competing at 80-90cm with massive scope for more. Bold cross country, happy with ditches and water. Dressage comments are always - forward, willing test, and he works consistently in an outline. He has been hunting over the winter, jumping everything asked of him, whilst being a sensible ride.

He has enjoyed beach rides and sponsored rides and is a super hacking pony, happy first or last, in a group or alone. He will maintain a steady pace or step it up if required. Good to ride and lead and can be led from another horse.

He needs a competent rider to continue to bring out the best in him. He can be cheeky on the ground - although is handled by children. He will only go to an experienced knowledgeable home. He would be a great mother/daughter share.

Microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and teeth. Comes with some tack and rugs. More photos and videos on request.

If you want to qualify for HOYS; Olympia: Ponies UK (BSPS); BD Native Dressage Championships: be in the BYRDS or BS Pony teams and have a rosette every time out then Beckett is the pony for you. Forest bred by Furzley Marinaide x Luckington Sportaide out of one of our own mares Shade Pond Becket is a 13.2, 8 yo super star pocket rocket and already has a WHP Ticket for the NPS championships August 2017 at Malvern, which he won at the breed show.

This weekend he won his combined training with 74% and double clear 80cms. He has 3 clear paces, a natural medium trot and uphill canter and has been bought on carefully and correctly. Lightly shown, you would be able to qualify for all the M&M and plaited classes to include Picton Novice; amateur and in hand. In hand Beckett has won at County Level; he has won and been placed at all his ODE's last year with double clears and is super bold and careful; and has hunted with the Cattistock this autumn.

Working at medium level at home he loves his changes - but have intentionally not competed much so that his next rider has that pleasure. Beckett is happy behind or in front or hacking on his own and he is good in traffic. He has lovely stable manners and perfect to shoe; load and catch, although he does need sedating to be clipped. He is fit and ready to go.

You will need to be a small (I’m 5’2”) competent rider - with ambition and lots of love to share with this very special pony and he will do the rest. You must be able to offer him a home that is second to none. Video available shortly. My phone does not have answer message, so please text or email me. We are in Sherborne, Dorset, but can also be Near Cadnam, Southampton - Junction 2 of the M27 if that is more convenient.

This mare has been taken quietly last season and is now ready to ‘kick on’ this year.

This mare has potential in all spheres – she loves her work and the more she is out competing the happier she is.

Serious competitors only please, as she has too much talent to waste and needs a competent jockey as can be strong to a fence.

Good to shoe, load, catch and in traffic etc.

Alfie is sadly for sale as now outgrown by his rider. We have owned him since 2015. He has taken my daughter from jumping 50 cm, winning both the 50 and 60 Grassroots at schools NSEA through to taking her around a 90 ODE course at Pontispool.

Alfie has worked hard on the flat and has achieved over 70 in his last few dressage outings. He came second in his section at the PC grass roots 2016 at Bicton, and has qualified for next round of Dengie Intermediate Dressage, his Medium trot is becoming established.

He is an absolute jumping maestro can turn on a sixpence and is extremely fast against the clock, with many winnings at unaffiliated show jumping. He would definitely affiliate and excel at this sphere, but this is not my daughters thing. She loves eventing and she has had the most brilliant time with this little superstar being placed in most ODE entered.

Alfie loves xc with a passion he will jump skinny, drops, steps, ditches and absolutely loves water!! anything you put at him he will jump. He was used at camp last year to lead the more timid horses over all the xc obstacles. Always placed at ODE / hunter trials as he doesn’t find time an issue.

He is very loving and has excellent stable manners. My daughter even clipped him this year. He is good to shoe, load etc. He is fully vaccinated.

Home is very important for this much loved little chap, it must be a 5star competition home as he likes to be out and about.

He is a competition pony so not a first pony. Will suit competent jockey looking for second pony to go out and compete and win.

145cm. A fantastic opportunity to buy one of the best FEI ponies in the country. Tonto has taught my daughter so much and has taken her safely round some of the biggest courses. He is bold, brave, honest, very experience and has a huge amount of scope and will take on the biggest of fences with no problem.

He is an extremely careful show jumper and always manages to get his rider out of trouble. He has lovely paces and always does an accurate test with very consistent marks.

He has had some super results including coming 2nd at Withington Pony Trial last year, being one of only three double clears and was reserve for the GB team in 2014. They were selected for the Wales and Borders CC1* U18 Championships at Frickley last year, but due to the jockey being away were unable to go.

Tonto has a huge character and loves his job and is now ready to teach someone else and give another young jockey success and lots of fun. He is also a fantastic hunter, has no vices and is good in traffic, clip, shoe, box.

He is a very special pony and is only for sale as my daughter is out of ponies. He is fit and ready to go and has been out competing and xc schooling. Lots more photo's and videos on request.

Started Eventing & BE in 2015 from 90-Novice level in 1st season. Produced by my daughter so fantastic with children & will look after his rider. Has been on the PC Area teams qualifing & competing at the Intermediate Eventing PC Championships 2015.

Tommy has the ability to step up to Novice level eventing or step back down the levels without being strong or silly (suitable for a rider that wishes to work through the levels & gain experience). He is a careful, scopey show jumper & very bold & brave xc who really looks after his rider (Always works out his strides & helps out the rider). My daughter broke her ankle mid season (hence less events on BE record during summer 2016) However, he was given on loan to a friends daughter for summer holidays and was part of Banwell PC Area teams getting placed in all the disciplines and making it to the Grassshoots Championships for Dressage and show jumping (only pony in our pc to jump 3 clear rounds to make it to the final).

Jumped BS on a ticket in Discovery & Newcomers classes. Confidently jumps 1.15-1.20m at home with ease.

Has been cubbing & hunting this season proven to be quiet, calm & patient when waiting around & jumped everything asked of him.

A perfect pony with impeccable manners, 100% to box / shoe / clip, travel. Bombproof in the heaviest of traffic & will hack alone. Only for sale as my daughter just to tall for him. 5* competitive home for a much loved pony who is very much part of our family. Fit, clipped & ready to go & have fun. We have many more pictures & videos.

**BEWARE**

BOGUS EMAILS & BUYERS!

Ref #: 22412

Increasing numbers of internet advertisers are receiving emails from bogus buyers, attempting to scam sellers

This tactic is a worldwide problem; however it would appear to be on the rise in the equine industry, targeting everything from horses and ponies for sale, to horseboxes, trailers and tack

**EXAMPLE SCAM ALERT**

We've been informed of a new email scam doing the rounds. This time the scam email in commonly coming from ‘Travis Bennett’ & 'Cynthia PT', asking a list of questions & offering to transfer a deposit and payment for shipping. Please ignore this email and if you have time report it to Action Fraud, for more details click HERE

In another instance the scammer will contact you via email asking if your horse is still for sale, this will be followed by an email containing 23 questions as shown on the picture on the left. Please do not respond to this email. Sorry for any inconvenience caused and rest assured we are doing our best to combat this.

Another scam which is particularly common, is  when theadvertiser is contacted about an item, asking for more images, and then once the images have been received the bogus buyer will agree to send a cheque for the full amount.  At this point the seller is asked to email their full contact details to enable the buyer to send payment. The seller is then contacted again saying that the cost of shipping has accidently been included on the cheque, and could the seller forward the cost of shipment onto a courier, which is also bogus

These scams can vary, however emails are often written in broken English and written in an over friendly style.  We urge HorseQuest customers to respond to email enquiries with caution. If something sounds too good to be true, it often is!

If you think you’ve been scammed then we strongly recommend that you contact the police

Ruby is a 14.2, bold, brave, experienced schoolmistress, while being very uncomplicated and easy to ride. She is a dream on the flat, scoring consistently in the 40's at Pony Trials. Ruby is a super pony to bring a rider up the grades, while being very competitive in all phases of eventing. Ruby has competed at European Championships, and with her experience and attitude can bring a new rider to this level too.

Unfortunately just as we were getting off to a promising start in 2016, Ruby suffered an injury at Ballindenisk International. She had fully recovered by August but the season was practically over so we brought her riding back slowly. She is riding at Pony 2* level again, and open to 5 stage vetting, she is fully sound, fit, and in competition, so ready for new rider to take the reins.

Ruby is a very special pony, extremely easy to manage in all aspects, no vices, and is so safe, minding herself and her jockey. She is extremely established and when new jockey ready for Pony Trials Ruby will rise to the challenge accordingly. My daughter is now out of ponies unfortunately, hence we are looking for new competitive home.

Very sad sale of my daughters pony due to her growing too fast! Minstrel has taught her everything he knows, from showjumping to eventing. He has been a pleasure to own in every way.

Fantastic safe jumper with a big heart who will always look after his jockey and bring them home safely. A wonderful temperament, unfazed by life and loves his job.

Good to shoe, box, hacks alone and in company, super traveller in lorry or trailer.

He is a straightforward ride and always tries his best. He is forward going and would suit a competitive family.

He has numerous double clears at BE90 including:

  • Suitable for teenager to handle on the ground
  • Safe to hack alone and in company and good in traffic
  • No health issues - sound and vice free

We are looking for a small horse for my teenage daughter to BE and do Pony Club. She had a season competing at BE90 in 2015 on a experienced 14hh schoolmistress. We bought a new horse in January last year to take her on to BE100 but unfortunately due to injury, this horse is out of action for the foreseeable future, so we are looking for a lovely new horse that she can compete in all disciplines. We have been looking since September last year and are beginning to lose hope that we are ever going to find something suitable! My daughter is desperate to get back out and have some fun.

Our perfect horse would be:

  • Maximum 16hh
  • No younger than 7. Preferably 8 - 12 years old but would consider something older.
  • Sound, injury free and with no health issues.
  • Must have solid and consistent BE record up to at least BE100.
  • Must be a schoolmaster type, suitable for a teenager and forgiving of rider errors.
  • Completely safe on the ground and under saddle - no rearers, spinners, buckers etc.
  • Safe to hack out alone and in company and good in traffic.

If an overgrown Connemara meets the above criteria that would be perfect! We ABSOLUTELY want a schoolmaster. Please only get in touch if your horse meets our criteria. My daughter is a kind, sympathetic rider and will receive weekly training. Sensible budget and knowledgeable, caring 5* home awaits. References available. Please email me, or call 07778 921395. Very happy to travel for the right horse.

Very easy to do, he loads and travels beautifully, is a real gem to hack out both alone or in company, safe in open spaces, snaffle mouth for schooling, hacking and flatwork. Loves to be groomed and fussed over, has no stable or ridden vices and is good with the farrier, clip etc

We would like him to go to a competitive home where his new jockey can continue with what he does best. No complete novices please he is a smart competition pony who is very capable of progressing his jockey up through the levels.

This is a heart-breaking sale as he has been with us two years and given my daughter such success. We absolutely adore Legend and are looking for a 5 star home where he will be loved and treasured.

This very quality mare has been beautifully produced and then the breeders had no one small around to ride her, therefore she is relatively lightly competed. She has an excellent jump for a little horse and could go to the top Pony / Riding Club eventing. She also qualified for the International horse Show in the Hack class which shows how correct and quality she is.

She has no blemishes or vices. She is well bred out of a CCI** event mare with 49 BE points, and by Shutterfly. She has had 2 foals when her breeders wanted to give her some time to grow/mature but she did not grow as much as they had hoped.

She was awarded a Broodmare Diploma BEF Futurity 2013 and produced an Elite foal and Higher First Premium yearling. She has a Life JMB Height certificate.

Good to hack alone or in company. Good in traffic, to shoe, box and clip.

Dylan is a super talented pony who has taught me so much over the last 3 years. He has had a taste for both eventing, showjumping and dressage, proving very talented in all 3 aspects.

Dylan has jumped up to 1-1.10m courses at home with lots of scope and is competing at discovery height (90-1m). Dylan also enjoys his cross country making him an ideal event pony with the potential to go far in eventing. He has excellent paces and has established various different moves at BD novice level.

Dylan is easy to do in every way and has no vices but does need sedation when being clipped.

He is a very versatile pony who would make a child very happy and teach them a lot, therefore we will only consider a 5* home to take Dylan as he deserves nothing less

Ivan is a new forest gelding who has been with the same family for the past two years. He is a real confidence giver, a true pony club pony, who can turn his hoof to pretty much anything, a been there and done it type. He was bought for a young girl who lost her confidence on a previous very fast and forward going pony, and is now looking for his next jockey to show them the ropes.

Ivan is a super consistent, safe, willing pony who always tries his best to please. Over the past two years he has regularly attended the Flamstead Pony Club including all types of rallies, competitions and camp. He happily jumps round courses up to 80cm in the showjumping arena and out on the XC course for fun. He is capable of jumping bigger with a more competent rider. He does need a confident rider to get the best from him.

He has successfully competed NSEA show jumping, arena eventing, hunter trials, pairs and ODE’s.

Loves to hack out alone and in company, forward going when out but never silly or strong, has hunted and been on beach rides.

He will be an ideal second pony or first competition pony for a child or small adult. He knows his job and looks after his rider, takes you to a fence without pulling and goes off any stride.

Ivan is an easy going pony who is good to handle, catch, load, farrier etc. (only shod in front) he is a good doer who currently lives out but is also happy to be stabled.

Looking for a 5* experienced home only for this cracking pony who is only for sale due to very sadly being outgrown.

For more info or further pics and videos please contact.

Tack and rugs included.
