Twist (Ballacurra All Star) has been the perfect and much loved partner for an eager 11 year old wanting to get into BE. Together they have worked up the levels and my daughter (who is now 14) is now confidently competing at BE100 with him. Twist is very safe xc and has a great record - if she were not outgrowing him, my daughter would definitely keep him for another year to consolidate at BE100 and then move onto Novice as we believe he has the scope and ability for this class. Twist has definitely not yet reached his full potential but more experience at BE (they are both learning all the time!) will undoubtedly yield great results. We have owned Twist for nearly 4 years but sadly we have run out of time on him and now need to move onto a horse.

A naturally relaxed pony, Twist is exceptionally easy to handle in every way (apart from being clipped, which, if I'm honest, he does not love. Having said that, he has been clipped twice recently so it is not an insurmountable problem!) He is good to shoe, load, travel and has no problems with the dentist. He loves to hack round open countryside or on the road, on his own or in company. He is a firm favourite with everyone he meets, humans and horses! Our eventing yard is as sorry as we are that he needs to move on as everyone has fallen in love with him.

Twist has a lovely compact shape and is very flexible which gives him great dressage scores often in the 20's. He could in fact specialize in dressage as he has three lovely paces - the judges adore him! He has been to senior PC camp 3 times and was awarded best pony in camp, winning his class twice out of the three years. He is the kind of pony that a mother loves as he is extremely safe xc (only ever had one xc fault due to rider error) and he is careful in the show jumping arena. My daughter has currently show jumped him up to 1.05m but he has competed at higher heights with his previous owner.

Twist loves to hunt but can be quite keen - he used to hunt two or three times weekly with his previous owner.

Extremely sad sale and must be sold to a 5* loving home. Absolutely NO DEALERS please.

Absolutely gorgeous, kind, clever pony.

Home broken at 3 years by her rider Tarka Abraham who was 9 when she broke her in with her mothers help. They are still a combination and are only having move on due to Tarka out growing Rosa. However, the pair have done just about everything together and far exceeded expectations.

Would make a top class WHP, and dressage pony.

Consistent double clears inside the time at 90 and 100, with regular placings including 2nd at Pontispool BE100u18, 4th at Bicton BE100, 3th at Firle Place and 4th at Upton House.

Repeatedly placed 1st and 2nd in Newcomers and Discovery BS classes. Including the last 10 BS outings not having any faults.

Won the PC camp ODE 3 years running.

Would do just as well as a Top level WHP, BYRDS dressage pony.

This pony is only available for lease to a special home.

We are looking for the next pony for my 12 year old son. His current pony is 24 and amazing in every way but we know that she will be retiring at some point.

He is confidently competing at BS discovery (90) and would like to be jumping 1m but that is a bit of a stretch for his current pony, although they have successfully done some 1m classes we feel she is better off sticking to the 90 cm classes. Apart from SJ his other love is XC.He has been competing at 80 cm and 90 cm at tetrathlon and hunter trials with great success. He is in his last year of minis in pony club tetrathlon and so needs a pony that will easily take him through juniors (90) but that he can also compete at 1m at hunter trials. He is a competent rider and quite small so does not need a weight carrier. He wants a forward pony but it must have brakes.

The pony must be good to load, clip, with farrier etc and be easy to handle on the ground. Mare or gelding , any colour, older , more experienced pony preferred.

We are based in West Wales and we are an experienced home. We have our own land and stabling and several equines . There are five children in the family that all ride and compete in various disciplines. Both parents ride and are experienced with horses. We have plenty of turnout and stabling to suit each pony's requirement. References available. All of our horses and ponies do flat work and hack out as well as competing .

Limited budget, loan would be great ( current pony is on long term loan) but other ponies owned.

A much loved, handsome and talented all round hunting pony. A dream hack, forward going, never spooks, alone or in company. Up to height with AHC would suit small adult.

A truly fantastic hunting pony, who looks for the next jump. He has attended the Pony club Novice Showjumping Championships in 2015 as well as competing in the School Team Nationals at Addington Manor for the last two years. We competed in Pony club teams at Windsor, Hickstead and Blenheim Palace in 2016. He has attended BE camp as well as numerous PC camps, can provide chief instructors reference.

We competed in the Intermediate Pony Club Eventing areas 2016, jumping a superb clear cross country. An absolute schoolmaster cross country, he just loves it! He would make a tremendous tetrathlon pony.

He is a beautiful pony, with three schooled paces.

Good BE and BS track record, see Garraangrena Schofield. He has competed up to BE100 level, competing in the u18 area final.

Easy to handle, really loves a cuddle and a fuss.

Only genuine enquirers please, we have had our pony for nearly 5 years now. He is a special pony who deserves a 5* home.

Would love to see him go to a hunting home with someone who enjoys cross country as this is what he lives for.

  • Partner of a lifetime and best frind

From the first moment I met B, I knew she was something special and she has not disappointed me in any way! She is my best friend in so many ways and we have had the best time ever. And the only reason I am looking for a new home for her is that I am too tall for her now. So this is a very hard thing to do.

She is an eventing star, is always on top of the dressage and loves cross country. She has been schooled exceptionally and has excelled in pure dressage at PC, NSEA and county level.

She has competed at Addington, Bury Farm, Stonar, Bicton, Hickstead and many other top equestrian venues and takes it all in her stride. In fact the bigger the party the more fun she has! She is brilliant at travelling and staying away, settling in straight away with her haynet!

She has done BE with her previous owner, but I have been too young to take her BE up till now

At home she so straightforward, is kind and friendly - in fact if we could have her in the house we would! She lives in but would stay out on a nice summers night and is a very good doer!!

She is brilliant to clip, worm and shoe (all 4) - she doesn't kick, bite or buck.

She is a chestnut mare and therefore is not a novice ride and does require a level of competence - she needs someone who is kind and understanding and wants to compete and win as that's what she enjoys the most!!

She has been hunting with the Wilton Hunt and loved it - quite a lot!!

We ride her in a universal gag jumping and loose ring snaffle for dressage.

She is fit and well - does not suffer with laminitis or sweet itch - she is the perfect pony

Price includes tack and premier equine rugs and travel boots.

  • With the right jockey will undoubtedly progress to CNCP** / Pony Trial success

Foaled in 2006 Jimmy Thunderstruck is an 11yr top class competition pony who over the past two seasons with us has competed at EI90p and EI100p with considerable success, wins and placings, and who with the right jockey will undoubtedly progress to CNCP** / Pony Trial success.

Jimmy is a handsome 145cm flea bitten grey gelding with a great presence. 100% load / shoe / needs sedation to clip. He will travel alone or in company and will stand on the lorry at one day events. All his vaccinations and wormer are up to date.

Jimmy is a super pony to do in all ways. As well as an outstanding event pony he has hunted, attended PC camp, The Pony Club Championships, various IPC events and hacks alone or in company.

In the dressage phase this pony has a "look at me" quality combined with established lateral movement. He has great paces and always attains high marks.

With great scope Jimmy shows his natural ability in the show jumping phase, he is athletic, neat and hates to touch the poles. He is not phased by water trays, fillers etc.

Jimmy loves his hunting and XC, jumping hedges, gates, skinnys, brushes, drops and water fences taking it all in his stride.

This is an extremely difficult decision to sell Jimmy Thunderstruck and the very only reason for sale is our son is in the first of his two years of GCSE's and that combined with other commitments he/we simply cannot do justice to the two ponies he has with the limited time he has to devote during term times. He had to choose between the two and unfortunately Jimmy is on the market.

Should he not sell Jimmy will be aimed at CNCP**/ Pony Trial in the autumn season and an FEI CCI* given he has the ability to do so and we will have more time available over the summer months.

Started Eventing & BE in 2015 from 90-Novice level in 1st season. Produced by my daughter so fantastic with children & will look after his rider. Has been on the PC Area teams qualifing & competing at the Intermediate Eventing PC Championships 2015.

Tommy has the ability to step up to Novice level eventing or step back down the levels without being strong or silly (suitable for a rider that wishes to work through the levels & gain experience). He is a careful, scopey show jumper & very bold & brave xc who really looks after his rider (Always works out his strides & helps out the rider). My daughter broke her ankle mid season (hence less events on BE record during summer 2016) However, he was given on loan to a friends daughter for summer holidays and was part of Banwell PC Area teams getting placed in all the disciplines and making it to the Grassshoots Championships for Dressage and show jumping (only pony in our pc to jump 3 clear rounds to make it to the final).

Jumped BS on a ticket in Discovery & Newcomers classes. Confidently jumps 1.15-1.20m at home with ease.

Has been cubbing & hunting this season proven to be quiet, calm & patient when waiting around & jumped everything asked of him.

A perfect pony with impeccable manners, 100% to box / shoe / clip, travel. Bombproof in the heaviest of traffic & will hack alone. Only for sale as my daughter just to tall for him. 5* competitive home for a much loved pony who is very much part of our family. Fit, clipped & ready to go & have fun. We have many more pictures & videos.

By I Love You Melody, out of Danesfield Dream

This mare has been taken quietly last season and is now ready to ‘kick on’ this year.

This mare has potential in all spheres – she loves her work and the more she is out competing the happier she is.

Serious competitors only please, as she has too much talent to waste and needs a competent jockey as can be strong to a fence.

Good to shoe, load, catch and in traffic etc.

  • Fernhill Ruby consistently in ribbons in Pony 2*
  • Safest and most willing FEI pony on circuit
  • Taken my daughter safely from EI100 to Pony Trial level within a season

Ruby is a 14.2, bold, brave, experienced schoolmistress, while being very uncomplicated and easy to ride. She is a dream on the flat, scoring consistently in the 40's at Pony Trials. Ruby is a super pony to bring a rider up the grades, while being very competitive in all phases of eventing. Ruby has competed at European Championships, and with her experience and attitude can bring a new rider to this level too.

Unfortunately just as we were getting off to a promising start in 2016, Ruby suffered an injury at Ballindenisk International. She had fully recovered by August but the season was practically over so we brought her riding back slowly. She is riding at Pony 2* level again, and open to 5 stage vetting, she is fully sound, fit, and in competition, so ready for new rider to take the reins.

Ruby is a very special pony, extremely easy to manage in all aspects, no vices, and is so safe, minding herself and her jockey. She is extremely established and when new jockey ready for Pony Trials Ruby will rise to the challenge accordingly. My daughter is now out of ponies unfortunately, hence we are looking for new competitive home.

**BEWARE**

BOGUS EMAILS & BUYERS!

Ref #: 22412

Increasing numbers of internet advertisers are receiving emails from bogus buyers, attempting to scam sellers

This tactic is a worldwide problem; however it would appear to be on the rise in the equine industry, targeting everything from horses and ponies for sale, to horseboxes, trailers and tack

**EXAMPLE SCAM ALERT**

We've been informed of a new email scam doing the rounds. This time the scam email in commonly coming from ‘Travis Bennett’ & 'Cynthia PT', asking a list of questions & offering to transfer a deposit and payment for shipping. Please ignore this email and if you have time report it to Action Fraud, for more details click HERE

In another instance the scammer will contact you via email asking if your horse is still for sale, this will be followed by an email containing 23 questions as shown on the picture on the left. Please do not respond to this email. Sorry for any inconvenience caused and rest assured we are doing our best to combat this.

Another scam which is particularly common, is  when theadvertiser is contacted about an item, asking for more images, and then once the images have been received the bogus buyer will agree to send a cheque for the full amount.  At this point the seller is asked to email their full contact details to enable the buyer to send payment. The seller is then contacted again saying that the cost of shipping has accidently been included on the cheque, and could the seller forward the cost of shipment onto a courier, which is also bogus

These scams can vary, however emails are often written in broken English and written in an over friendly style.  We urge HorseQuest customers to respond to email enquiries with caution. If something sounds too good to be true, it often is!

If you think you’ve been scammed then we strongly recommend that you contact the police

Top class FEI pony for sale. Shanbo only started his eventing career this year and has proved to be brave, bold and genuine. He has an excellent attitude and loves his job and in just one season has moved up to novice where he has jumped double clear on 3 occasions.

He tries his hardest at all times and his near faultless record cross country shows he really enjoys the job. He is snaffle mouth at all times and jumps skinnies and into water, ditches and corners, he has no hang ups at all. He has excellent paces and has produced some very smart tests, he has top 10 placings at novice but as I said it's only his first season eventing there is so much more to come.

He has also won unaffiliated. We really believe that with the right child he will go to the top and at only 8 years old he is a rare find. Shanbo would also excel at pure show jumping with masses of scope and potential. He is a much loved pony with fabulous manners whilst riding and on the ground with a willing nature who is easy to clip shoe box etc. He hacks out alone or in company and is good in traffic.

He is only for sale as my daughter is out of ponies next year. Very sad sale.
