He is a lovely compact pony type of Connemara – the sort not easily found today - and will mature to around 14.1hh, and will not go over height. He takes his extravagant trot from his Millfields bred dam, and would look absolutely wonderful between shafts – with black harness complementing his cream body – and covering the ground with his superb paces. His trot could be ideal to gain marks in dressage too.

He would also make a great competition pony, as he is athletic and forward thinking – with scope and ability from the Sparrow jumping lineage.

Full of energy and enthusiasm, quick to learn and handled regularly, he is an interesting youngster to have around the yard.

Not only is he very rare in his colour – a Perlino (blue eyed cream with bay base colour) - but also he does not carry any grey gene. Most connemara ponies now carry the dominant grey gene, so foals from grey parentage may be born bay, dun or other colours but will grey out during their first or second year. However, if Finn were kept entire and put to bay mares, the progeny would ALWAYS be dun (buckskin), which would NOT grey out at maturity.
