2019 Class 1 Connemara stallion with an exceptional pedigree and a very exciting future ahead of him as a stallion and under saddle.

He was SPSS Reserve Champion graded Stallion of 2022 with the judges describing him as having an 'excellent attitude, willing and bold' and 'very good scope' scoring 9/10 for his jumping.

He has superb confirmation and paces, exceptional scope and attitude to jumping combined with a lovely temperament.

His Sire, Silver Shadow needs no introduction, a World class FEI showjumping pony in his own right who competed at the European Championships, he is also one of the most prolific and sought after sires of performance ponies of all time with many offspring competing at FEI level and on European championship teams both showjumping and Eventing. At the 2021 pony european championships he was the sire of 4 ponies and the grandsire of another 2. His progeny include Cul Ban Mistress (2 x gold and 1 x silver SJ at European Chanpionships along with multiple nations cups and grand prix's), Doon Laddie (Silver at European Championships SJ), Wildwood Silver (HOYS Winner), Mervus Lad (Fontainbleau Winner), Lisnadrisha Tic Tac (RIHS Winner), Black Shadow (RDS Champion) to name a few!

His dam Ballinakill Lass (by Moy Johnny’s Pride) is also the dam of double HOYS M&M WHP Champion Laburnum Richard, Class 1 stallion and HOYS finalist Cool Jack and FEI showiumping pony Jack The Lad who competes at 1.30m.

He provides an exciting opportunity for British breeders to access these bloodlines. He is working very well under saddle with superb ability, rideability and attitude. He will begin his competitive career this summer.

He does not carry the cream colour gene and is N/N HWSD.

Olaf has tremendous potential. Straight silky mane, tail and feather with an amazing frame and limb combined with excellent movement he is sure to be an outstanding open pony.

He has been lightly started having lived out until recently, he has been lunged and very lightly backed and turned away, he will make an amazing novice for next season.

He has been loaded and travelled to a show for an educational trip, has had the farrier etc.

Hedgethorpe Master Jack

14 year old, fell pony stallion. True to type.

Jack is easy to do in all ways. Don't let the fact he is a stallion put you off as he is probably the easiest horse I have owned. He is stabled on a yard next to mares and hacks out with them.

Hacks out alone and in company. Nothing fases him.

He did his first proper season with his previous owner in 2019 where he qualified HOYS on the flat at RHS. He also jumped couple HOYS workers tracks including Royal Highland. He is still eligible heritage novice workers.

Needs very little working in, no calmers or ear plugs needed.

Whilst I have owned him he has always been placed at every show we have been to. Always lovely comments of judges.

I did not compete last year due to other commitments.

He has had the winter off and is now coming back into work.

He was used as a breeding stallion before his ridden career and has bred some lovely off spring.

This is not an easy decision and he will only go to the best of homes.

Outstanding open ridden Dartmoor, wins include Supreme Ridden Dartmoor Breed Show ‘22, Devon County, Royal Cornwall, Three Counties, Dartmoor Pony Society Open Ridden Stallion of the year ‘22/‘23 Qualified HOYS ‘22 finishing 7th overall. Starting to really show promise with his dressage training something we believe he could excel at if continued.

Still very low mileage considering all he has achieved, super easy going and lovely to have on the yard. Not one that needs hours of working in at a show & is good to do in all ways.

Very reluctantly advertised as although we like to think we can keep them all we can’t! Currently standing his sire/brother and uncle….. realistically long term we won’t have a job for him so feel he will be able to give someone else fun and enjoyment.

Not only does he still have a tremendous future ahead of him under saddle but he would also be an asset to any stud.
