Registered Welsh Section D 2 year old colt
Elmo is halter trained, well handled, used to the
farrier, regularly wormed, loads easily, is used to being bathed and
generally takes most things in his stride
I feel sure he would excel in whatever field he
progresses in
His dam was an excellent driving horse with superb
action and has been retained for breeding
The dam has thrown duns consistently and her full
sister is palomino
Elmo would be an ideal asset to any stud and would
cover this year if desired
Can be gelded at extra cost |

'BRUCE ALLMIGHTY' |
|
Stunning 2 year old traditional grey cob
Standing at 14.1hh Bruce is on set to mature to 15.1hh
He is a super stamp of a cob with a leg at each corner
- Set to be a superb show prospect for the future
He has good clean limbs, is deep bodied with free
flowing paces, with good bone and increasing feather! Bruce is sure to do
well in the ring
He is a sweet natured, gentle chap who now requires an
experienced and kind home to fulfil his potential
Bought last October I have spent the past six months
getting him familiar with the hustle and bustle of life
He stands well to be brushed, wears a rug happily,
boxes, travels in a lorry (not tried a trailer) and has seen
traffic/tractors
He will pick up his feet to be trimmed but this could
be improved upon
In time and with the correct handling I’m sure he will
go far! This is a heartbreaking sale for me but I knew the time would come
when he would have to go on to bigger and better things
Photos really don’t do this wee man justice

This lovely welsh part bred coloured filly, is very
reluctantly offered for sale is. She is to make between 13.2hh and 14hh max.
She is already showing signs of being a lovely deep bodied chunky filly with
bone, feather and markings to match! Echo is black and white although there
is a chance she is dilute black and white which would mean that if she was
used for breeding there is a chance that her foals could inherit the cream
dilution gene and produce palominos, buckskins and dilute blacks or of
course palomino and white, buckskin and white and dilute black and white.
She is too young to reliably DNA test her at the moment but this could be
done at 6 months old if her buyer wished to know for certain.
Her dam is the delightful welsh mare Farchynys Cristal,
who is exceptionally wellbred and by the great stallion Coed Coch Pele. Her
dam has been with me for 10 years now and has proved herself a great all
round broodmare, pony and family friend who has successfully competed under
saddle in dressage, working hunter and cross country as well as in hand.
Moreover she has produced four fantastic foals all of which have gone on to
be fantastic all round ponies including araco Eclipse (in Ireland) and
Taraco Emerald (show jumping in Scotland). Her foals have all inherited
their dam's fantastic temperament, graceful and extravagent paces and
wonderful outlook on life.
Echo 's sire is the lovely young traditional coloured
stallion 'Shorty' - he is about 13.3hh, with at least 9 inches of bone, and
combines beautiful markings, a kind and gentle temperament and good straight
and powerful action all of which he seems to have passed on to this
delightful little filly. He is dilute black and white which means he carries
the cream dilution gene that can cause palomino and buckskin foals, hence
the fact that there is a chance that Echo is also dilute black and white
like her sire.
This filly will be registered in the Welsh Pony and Cob
Society (WPCS) stud book as a Welsh Part Bred (WPB) and will then be
overstamped with CHAPS so will be eligible to be shown as a WPB or coloured
filly. I have absolutely no doubts that she would be a great family friend
and would readily turn her 'hoof' to driving, riding or in hand showing or a
combination of all three. She has a pretty pony head, a sweet disposition
and shows every sign of being as kind as both her parents.
Photo shown at 2 hours old. Lots more photos available
by email including those of her sire and dam and siblings if required.
Alternatively she can be seen with her dam at Taraco Stud, near Canterbury,
Kent. Please email or call for more information and photos. |
