16hh bay Thoroughbred, Weatherbys registered, has raced, 12 years old

A lovely looking horse with beautiful action and a quality head

Previous owners have taken him to pony club camp, training etc and he was on all cross country teams - he loves cross country, and all jumping!

Has competed in prelim dressage last summer and placed almost every time out, he has a lovely soft mouth, works in an outline (although can be lazy as he prefers to jump) and is non spooky around dressage boards, banners etc

He is a lovely hack - very good in traffic and will go first or last if in company, although I prefer to hack alone and he is a star

He has never bucked, reared or napped with me - He is good to catch, shoe, clip and load and has never been sick or sorry

He is the nicest horse you could meet in the stable - never puts his ears back etc

I purchased him two years ago to be a cross country schoolmaster for me - but I have to say that being a pony person I simply would not feel confident with him as I find his stride too long and fast  - although he is not rushing at all - hence the dressage last Summer!!

This sale is very sad -  he is a lovely boy - a very one to one horse - but my work and family commitments have prevented me from riding him since December and he really does deserve a home that can offer more time and fun!

I need to find a lovely genuine home for him with someone who understands thoroughbreds and has more time to devote to him than I do. The downside is that he does crib - He is not for sale to a novice rider

I am selling him at a realistic price as a good home is the most important priority for me - he is not fit at the moment and has enjoyed his winter rest but is now ready to come back into work

He would suit a variety of homes, he would love to hunt, be a happy smart hacker and would show - He needs to have fun!!
