We are based on the Suffolk/Essex borders and are also taking horses/ ponies for schooling and breaking

All of the ponies we have are produced and ridden to the highest standard and treated as individuals, with daily turnout, hacking and schooling we try to keep there minds fresh to get the best from them

Last year teddy competed in HOYS first ridden qualifiers

We purchased him as a lead rein but as my daughter is only 5 and teddy is up to height the picture is not right, as we all do when we are just starting we jump into the first beautiful pony we see and when Brook rode him in and out the menage on her own in walk and trot when she had never been off the lead rein how could I resist

Teddy is a complete confidence giver and would be safe to teach any child coming off the lead rein, and with both the looks and flowing paces he is good enough to compete at top level

I now feel that first ridden for Brooke is still a few years away and a smaller lead rein show pony is needed (if anyone knows where)

Harry is very sadly prematurely for sale as my daughter just hasn’t got the confidence to do first ridden classes with him even though he was going fantastically for her at home

I have pushed her so much she now wont ride him at all and we are having to go back to lead rein

He is such a special pony that I feel he is wasted with us as he needs to be out there doing what he does best

Harry is as safe as they come without being a plod and has manners to burn, he is a fantastic moving pony with the most beautiful rocking horse canter

He has previously been twice to HOYS as a first ridden being placed both times

Always qualifies for the RIHS and did so this year with a confident 7 year old jockey, although she is only 7 she has been riding F/R since the age of 5 and I do feel this is the type of home he would be best suited to. He is very safe but is big moving and has brains

Harry is very easy to home produce nothing fazes him, excellent in traffic you could load him on the M6. He will stand on the wagon all day with out any fuss. No lunging needed before a class.

This pony has qualified for RIHS 2007 and 2008 as a FR and narrowly missed HOYS 2007 (hoping to qualify 2008)

I have listed a few of his wins opposite (many more available upon application). He was shown in 2006 but we only played with him for this season as my daughter was just off of the LR
He is now for lease as my daughter is out of class at the end of this season

He has also shown as a LR successfully with my younger son gaining 2 firsts and a champion in 2007, and I have no doubt he would make it as a top LR SP. We have not done any more on the LR as we have had no Jockey (my son does not want to ride any longer)

NOT for sale as I have another daughter who will ride him in LR from 2012

Can be seen and tried at RIHS 2008. Not for lease until the end of this season (though happy for any potential homes to try him in a class at a show)

KNOWLEDGEABLE HOME SOUGHT

Really cracking bright chestnut, 122cm, 6 year old gelding who is totally wasted with us

We have had this pony for 18 months and he is just not the pony for us and we are not the home for him

Our four year old daughter has competed on him in LR SP but he doesn't like being "ridden" by a tiny wobbly jockey and so we have had to buy a second lead rein for her to ride in the ring

The plan was for us to keep this pony until our daughter was in FR but he really should be in regular work and be out there being shown to the best of his potential and it isn't fair on him to be in such light work for the next 3 years

He is currently ridden at home on and off by a semi competent 7 year old and is happy to look after her off the lead

He has three good paces, can be turned out with anything, hacked out alone and in company, loads brilliantly, is very easy to catch and is good with the farrier/dentist/vet, he is good as gold with a weight of jockey he can feel and who gives aids he can feel even if they are not accurate

So if he's so great why are we selling him?  Because I have nobody to ride him and school him regularly and I can't afford to feed him forever!  He can be a typical stroppy boy and was very unsettled when he first came to us, cribbing and generally being unpleasant to be around however he settled down, stopped cribbing after one coat of anti crib on his door and although he has to be sedated to be trimmed and have his mane and tail pulled I wouldn't think twice about keeping him and putting up with his nonsense if our daughter could be out there showing him week in and week out however unless she grows dramatically in the next few weeks this isn't going to happen and he is just better off going to a new experienced home where he can be ridden regularly and enjoy his showing
