I am looking for an all round paragon of safety after one or two rather unpleasant experiences

The horse must hack out alone and in company without getting fizzy, bucking or rearing, be patient enough to stand and open gates and not be worried about tractors, HGV's,quad bikes, cows, sheep and anything else strange we might meet in the countryside

To add to the list of the impossible he should have experience XC and be a point and go type for jumping, strong horses not a problem just no high jinks! Experience of the hunting field would be an advantage although not necessity

He must be easy enough to take to shows, hunter trials etc on my own and not kick the trailer to bits when left alone. Now for the major one NO NAPPING in any shape or form!!

13 year old attractive chestnut gelding, English TB by Soldier Rose, 16.2hh

Imported from the UK as a 7 year old, where he competed in PN and Novice classes

After that he did several CIC* and CIC** and a CCI**over the past years with 2 different riders

He went double clear in Marbach CIC** 2006, went clear in Powderham Intermediate this spring, clear Marbach CIC** 2008, did a double clear CIC* in Martinvast in August and clear XC in Waregem CIC*

He produces a good dressage test, judges love him! His lateral work and changes are well-established

He is a very honest horse across country, good on water, 100% straight on skinny jumps. He doesn’t pull, snaffle mouth all three phases

Guto doesn’t ride as a ‘big’ horse; he is very good off the leg and not strong at all

He is a very genuine horse, always trying and giving 110% for his rider, a saint in an out of the stable, good to hack, clip, shoe, just a lovely character to have around!

Guto is qualified to go CIC***, but as we feel this would be too much for him, we think he would make a very good Junior/JRN horse

He deserves a loving home with one owner where he could be the star of the yard and give the rider a wealth of experience!
