Shannon is one of the nicest mares you could ever wish

She was imported from Ireland last year and we turned
her away for around 6 months to allow her to settle and mature
She was broken in during the latter part of 2007 and
has proved to be one of the easiest horses to have around
She has three super paces and she really does enjoy her
work. She works sweetly on the bridle and has just started lateral work
She loves to jump and is very bold and careful - I have
never known her stop or even knock a pole
She is now competing every weekend and has show jumped
up to 90cm and consistently produces double clears - At home, she is jumping
1.10m with plenty of scope to go higher
She has been cross country schooling and is a real
cross country machine - She has never stopped once and jumps everything
asked of her including ditches, water, banks, drops and steps
She is a very sensible horse and is snaffle mouthed
with no martingale - She is perfectly behaved at a competition and is
entered up for Dressage over the coming weeks
She is super to hack, alone or in company and never
naps
Shannon has an adorable temperament and everyone who
comes onto the yard immediately falls in love with her - She is a 'people
horse' and loves attention and fuss, even the kids can go in the stable with
her - she is that kind and gentle!
She has real potential as an Eventer and is a true
contender for this years BYEH / PAVO classes
