Sovereign is safe, sensible and has been successful in every discipline - He is a wonderful character with a very amenable temperament, a true child’s pony in every way

We bought him from his breeder and he was broken by my then 12 year old daughter - He was an absolute treasure from day one, uncomplicated enough for her to do on her own

Together they have competed at M&M WHP, M&M ridden classes, hunter trials & show jumping, he also hacks out safely alone or in company and is a perfect gentleman out hunting, all of this in a snaffle

He was broken in 2005 and very lightly shown, but (amongst other results) was 1st and Reserve Champion at NPS Area 25, qualifying for the NPS Novice WHP Final out of 25 ponies - This was his 2nd WHP class ever! In 2006 he won at both NPS and PUK Summer Champs, and in 2007 he was 3rd in the RIHS Topspec final (highest placed Section B)

Sovereign would suit a nervous or novice jockey as he is very steady and sensible. He taught seven year old friend to rise to the trot - He is brilliant XC and hunting as he does not pull or hot up, jumps everything, ditches, drops, water, steps – he really is a star!

Superbly bred Welsh Section B with Eyarth lines, 5 year old dun gelding with black points

After much debate, we are advertising Bill -We have owned him since summer last year and have found him to be superb in every way

He is a very easy responsive ride - He goes in a natural effortless outline and has correct balanced paces - He is well schooled and goes beautifully on or off the lead rein - We have worked him over coloured fences and he has successfully competed in a jumping competition -  He has natural ability over fences, never stops and is totally honest

He has been shown successfully in first ridden and open ridden classes -  He is unfazed by busy classes, crowds and clapping and he has always been placed in good company - This is a county standard pony -  He will suit native or plaited classes, working hunter and jumping and he would make a super pony club pony having attended a couple of rallies

He has lovely manners, he is a pleasure to own, he runs over to you in the field so is great to catch, he will load himself onto a lorry and he will stand at a show all day and you don't know he is there

Vaccinated and wormed to date, feet good, no laminitis, never reared/bolted, never sick or sorry, teeth done etc etc -He is in show condition, he has lovely conformation and stands out from the crowd-He has been ridden by a seven, eight and nine year old as well as a selection of lightweight adults

So why is he for sale?...he was bought for my daughter to take her into first ridden this year Unfortunately due to an incident with another pony she has lost her confidence As a result of this we have got her old 11hh pony back and she is progressing well but will stay on the lead rein in the ring this year - She wants to keep Bill but realistically she is not ready for first ridden this season so he is being ridden by me, my daughter at home and borrowed jockeys at shows and he is being kept for the sake of it

 I would love to find him a new home where he will be used to his full potential, ideally where I can keep in touch and be given the opportunity to buy him back if he is offered for sale when my daughter

We think he would suit a child who is ready for a safe well schooled responsive pony, a rider who is ready to jump and do first ridden-He is not a plod and is a superb second pony.  We are very fond of him and he deserves the best home

Absolutely top class M&M working hunter pony / ridden & potential NS / 13h WHP

Sovereign is safe, sensible and has been successful in every discipline - He is a wonderful character with a very amenable temperament, a true child’s pony in every way

We bought him from his breeder and he was broken by my then 12 year old daughter - He was an absolute treasure from day one, uncomplicated enough for her to do on her own

Together they have competed at M&M WHP, M&M ridden classes, hunter trials & show jumping, he also hacks out safely alone or in company and is a perfect gentleman out hunting, all of this in a snaffle

He was broken in 2005 and very lightly shown, but (amongst other results) was 1st and Reserve Champion at NPS Area 25, qualifying for the NPS Novice WHP Final out of 25 ponies - This was his 2nd WHP class ever! In 2006 he won at both NPS and PUK Summer Champs, and in 2007 he was 3rd in the RIHS Topspec final (highest placed Section B)

Sovereign would suit a nervous or novice jockey as he is very steady and sensible. He taught seven year old friend to rise to the trot - He is brilliant XC and hunting as he does not pull or hot up, jumps everything, ditches, drops, water, steps – he really is a star!

Seriously untapped potential for the plaited workers, looks fantastic plaited up - definite RI Nursery Stakes prospect with younger jockey, and has the scope for open 13hh workers or PC eventing as well
