He won't be wearing a carnation in his button hole but, he does have a very smart Red Rug with Horsequest "splashed" along
the side! Provided he is not too busy, he would love to have a chat & meet
people.

- Horsequest has leased the exciting young Welsh Section
B Stallion Rotherwood Spycatcher for the 2001 show season.
As with all of us, Spycatcher had a slow start to his
season. However, the season now seems to be getting underway. Spy's first show was
Four Winds at Merrist Wood Agricultrual College and we arrived to find huge numbers of
people. Obviously we all had the same idea!
Spycatcher only contested one class, the Ponies UK
Kingsford Qualifier. He won the class in style, behaving immaculately throughout - a
very encouraging start and we are now aiming at a Wembley qualifier later in the year.
Whilst we would have liked to have got a few more
shows under his surcingle early in the year, it was not to be & at the time of
writing, early May, he is having a small break to meet his wives. Hopefully lots of
lovely Spy babies next year!
There seems to be a dearth of in-hand events, so it
looks as if we will have to concentrate on the ridden for now. We have yet to decide his
next show but we will keep you posted. |
In due course, we hope that a larger
stablemate will join Spycatcher in flying the Horsequest flag

the right horse, we'll let you know!
