15.1 - 16.0 hh well mannered proven hunter

Urgently, to get used to new horse during school holidays - a 15.1 - 16.0 hh well mannered proven hunter for mum and teenage son to share hunting and for son to do some pony club on in the summer.

Must be prepared to shut gates/ go middle of the field with mother and jump and help whip in with son. Must take its rider in to a fence, as mother not the most confident jumper these days! 

Not looking for a superstar and nothing with potential - we need something that has been there and got the t-shirt!  Must hack out alone and in company, not hot up in open fields and be excellent in all traffic including lorries and tractors.  Ideally that will ride and lead with mother to keep it fit during school time, and definitely something that will not explode if not ridden every day.

Possibly suit an older horse seeking a slightly quieter life but am open to any suggestions. Minor stable vices such as cribbing, weaving not a problem.  We can offer a home for life on large farm with other horses to this paragon - references available if required. 

We are looking within 200 mile radius of Newcastle on Tyne but would travel further for absolutely the right horse. Sensible price paid. 

COMPETENT RIDER REQUIRED, NR BRAINTREE ESSEX

 I have a super professionally produced 16.3hh 5yr old ¾ TB gelding now looking to go out and start his competition career.

He has grown too big for me to ride effectively, but having owned since a weanling I have no intention to sell him on.

He is bred to event (Jumbo/Infantry lines) but would also hold his own in the show ring as a large riding horse etc so I'm open to suggestions.

He has a lovely temperament and enjoys his work and is a real pleasure to have around.

Please only apply if you can give the commitment of plenty of time and have experience of bringing on young horses/competing, I do not not require any financial contribution.

Ideally you will be 5' 9" plus, and11.5 stones max (but slight variations considered!!) He must stay on my yard.
