Endurance Riding is Farouk's (SCAHRTEYN ARA ) Forte and I have competed him at Novice Level for the last two years, however he is more than ready to compete at much greater distances than I want to do. He has a low heart rate.
He is a kind and gentle soul, well mannered & very beautiful. He has very hard feet and won the area trophy for the longest bar foot distance last season (2023)
Farouk has excellent conformation & good manners. He has a very famous Grandsire Marwan Al Shaqab.

Farouk is documented on my YouTube channel (@Tara101) and has Hundreds of Videos from the day I saw him and bought him, as a three-year-old Stallion, to backing him & riding him; his first event and through the years to present day. No other horse has so much information on his temperament and career, so you will be able to make an informed decision as to whether or not he would suit you.
Farouk is never nappy and will walk on a lose rein over any terrain, even after a fast gallop. He is happy to pass horses and be out in front. He will go first, last or in the middle. He has done many endurance and pleasure rides and has even Hunted with the Bloodhounds (chasing a human). He is ridden in a snaffle and is good to stop.
Farouk is excellent to load, travel and clip including his face and legs. He does not need shoes or boots as he has very hard feet and is great when he has his feet trimmed.
He is fit and 100% sound and supple. No vices. He stands well at the mounting block, is good with gates. Good in traffic. Excellent to hack with huge experience which includes fast flowing streams, passing pigs, cows, peacocks, narrow bridges, barking dogs and pheasants flapping about in hedge rows.
Farouk is Excellent in a herd or mixed herd or on his own. He is good in his stable and very clean.
He enjoys human interaction and will fetch his feed bowl or horse ball. He bows on either front leg and enjoys lose jumping.
Farouk has amazing stamina and loves to run. He will walk nicely after a flat-out gallop.
