Here I have my full green book Irish Connemara, he's only over here a month or so. He's 4 and broken by us, with a very laid back attitude. He stands when you mount him with the stirrup, loves his outings.

He is easy to shoe, clip, and load. Travels well and will stand inge box with the back door down.

All his basic work has been done and he's 100% ready to go on with what ever discipline he is wanted for.

He's always been rode out alone and is the type that loves his job and is happy out. Walk is powerfull and great step, not pony like, trot is controlled and in a great shape doing figures of 8'S at easy. He has a great stride in canter and not choppy, great head carriage.

Snaffle mouthed. I ride him down to small jumps but he's loose schooling over 1mt 10 with ease, has a great technique over a pole. He's never napped, bucked or been bold with me. Has to be seen and rode to be given real justice.

Open to any vetting, loads of pictures and videos on request.

This pony will only go on and up in value with more work. Thanks for looking.

I have owned frog for 16 months but sadly are partnerships has not headed in the right direction due to being over horsed.

Before I got her she was eventing up100 and I planed to event but I’m just not brave enough.

She is a sensitive and quirky mare and needs a confident rider so no novices please but in the right hands can take someone far.

Please forgive the length of this advert. We have much to say about this pony … she deserves it!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  • Super careful & consistent
  • Safe
  • Willing
  • Brave
  • … At only 11 and low mileage, still on the way up!

PRINTERS ASSASSIN (Arya) is a strong, powerful ally as her name suggests! She is a winner in good company in all disciplines (showjumping, dressage and eventing), including the hottest BS 138cm pony classes.

When she loves and respects you and feels loved and respected in return … she would jump the moon for you, just as she has for me on many occasions!

She has demonstrated ability and heart to be ABSOLUTELY top class for a competent, kind, sensitive, and loving child.

She has a kind, generous, and willing nature. She very much wants to please. She now needs a super younger child to teach and have fun with, just as she has taught me SO much and taken me to places I only dreamed of going!

SHE IS NO DOORMAT, she is sharp, sassy, feisty, and extremely intelligent. Not difficult nor dangerous in any way, but not a novice ride.

She has been trained almost exclusively by us over the almost four years she has been with us (my parents being very experienced horse trainers and competitors in their respective fields). I am 14 and have ridden her since I was 10. I am her only jockey.

--------------- SHOWJUMPING -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Arya competes at the top level for 138cm ponies British Showjumping. She is one of very few JC ponies to have qualified for and competed in the 138 Winter Championships (1.25-1.30m) at Hickstead, having only competed BS for two years.

She has been frequent winner and top five placings up to and including classes at 1.10m.

Having unexpectedly qualified this relatively novice pony in February 2020 for the Winter 138 Champs, we did have some catching up to do to be ready for the Final at Hickstead in July 2020. Ideally, we needed to give her more experience over the bigger tracks. In a normal year we believe we could have done that. Sadly, and I say this with some regret; we were not able to do as much as she really needed (owing largely to lockdown/show cancellations/cancellation of all the other championship classes we had qualified for/ and even the cancellation then re-scheduling of the Winter Champs). Consequently, we did rather rush the showjumping last year – as you will see on her record – unfairly leading to a record that doesn’t reflect the stunning, willing, giving and talented pony that Arya truly is.

Sadly 2020 was my last year competing her BS as I will be 15 this year.

2020 Qualifications …
- SCOPE Festival Novice Masters Championship (95cm)
- Blue Chip Winter Pony Discovery Champs (1m)
- Blue Chip Sapphire Championship (1m)
- Discovery 2nd Rounds (1m)
- Amanda Millward 138cm Championship (1m)
- Springboard Final (1.05m)
- 138cm Handicap Specials (1.05m)
- Pony Restricted Rider 1m Champs (1.05m)
- Newcomers 2nd Rounds (1.10m)
- Winter 138cm Second Rounds (1.15)
- Hickstead, BS Winter 138 Championship Finalist (1.25-1.30m)

What a mess 2020 was! Most of our champs were either cancelled, or postponed several times .. and then clashed, or I was back at school. Consequently, the only championship we did was Hickstead.

--------------- EVENTING -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
She is a winner up to and including 90cm eventing. She gave me a double clear, 100cm qualifying run in my first BE event, finishing 10th at Norton Disney. She also recently gave me a fantastic clear run at 100cm eventing.

We were 8th in the two-day event (2019) at Princethorpe, Best Dressage, double clear cross country (including roads and tracks and steeple chase). My silly mistake in the show jumping costing us the win. Might I add, I have never done that again!

--------------- DRESSAGE -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
She is now training comfortably at Medium level dressage. She has won a few dressage classes, but with only a handful of outings (I’m away at school and we simply don’t have time to do everything). Now competing securely at the top end of Elementary, winning E42 las time out.

She is working extremely correctly and well. To us she is a masterpiece (I know ... we might be biased!), and she is still improving. She is competent at:
• all lateral movements, including half pass in walk, trot and canter
• counter canter
• correct, true lead changes (not just SJ lead-changes)
• We are also playing with the early steps of piaffe
• Mediums and extensions are coming along nicely

--------------- TRAINING -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We enjoy training as much as competing so have produced her at home carefully and correctly, taking our time.

--------------- PONY CLUB -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We have enjoyed all Pony Club activities, including competing and winning on all PC teams and loving PC Camp.

We qualified for Cholmondley Castle, for both Dressage (individually and team) and Eventing (individually and Team) with the Burghley PC for 2019. Sadly, the PC Champs were cancelled in 2019 (WET!).

Also sadly PC Areas and Champs were cancelled in 2020 (COVID!).

--------------- GENERALLY -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Together we have done so much.
• Since I was a 10-year-old I was riding her in from the field bareback with a headcollar.
• I hack her alone and in company. Though at risk of repeating myself SHE IS NOT A DOORMAT! She is bouncy and feisty, but has never done anything anti-social.
• We hack all around the farm and countryside, helping ourselves to whatever comes in our way (ditches, hedges, rails, logs etc).
• Also, on the roads with cars, motorbikes, lorries, farm machinery, the works.
• With my support she is an adventurer.
• She is super safe .. Too smart not to be! She has never done anything silly nor remotely dangerous.
• I ‘do’ her myself (when school permits).
• She loves people, would never hurt a (human) soul. However, horses hmm! If she got her little hooves around any one of ours … it would become interesting very quickly! We don’t turn her out with other horses. In truth, she prefers human company.
• I often work with her loose in the Round Pen and what can I say … she is amazing, perfection! (Though my father, Richard is the expert!)

SUPER polite and easy to handle in every way.
• She is snaffle mouthed working at Novice/Elementary in a snaffle. Although I usually ride her in a double bridle, for the higher level dressage and particularly for jumping and cross-country. (Please Note: I ride everything in a double bridle - even my little 12hh Dartmoor I had when I was 6! As Robin Leyland said, “All you need in your tack room is a snaffle and a double”. My mother has added an explanation on our use of double bridles FYI below this ad.)
• She usually catches us in the field .. trots over to us.
• She loads and travels very well.
• Clipping – she wouldn’t even need a headcollar on.
• Shoeing - couldn't be easier.
• Mane pulling - perfect.
• We have however left her tail to grow because she really doesn’t like having it pulled. For two years my mother did pull her tail, without the need for wrestling, doping or twitching. However, she is sensitive. She is too respectful and polite to kick or bite, but clearly hates having her tail pulled. So, we decided she looks better as a hippie!
• No vices.
• Fit, sound, and well, with ultra clean legs.

I love her ABSOLUTELY COMPLETELY! So does my mother, George. Only topped by my father who would sleep in Arya’s stable if my mother would let him (didn’t get so jealous)! Once you get to know her personality, she can’t help but make you laugh every day!

Her sale will be accompanied by many soaked tissues, and wails (that’s totally a generic term). To a 6-star home ONLY! We will want to know about you =)

ON DOUBLE BRIDLES
Arya is snaffle mouthed. She has a lovely mouth and is very responsive. Xanthe jumps, hacks, and does dressage on her a snaffle … as well as in a double bridle.

I/WE LOVE double bridles, and we work all of our horses and ponies in them. We use the double as part of our education as, when used with skill and sensitivity and supported by forward and balanced riding, it helps horses to find not only a good understanding of the rider’s aids but also to carry themselves in correct posture. The double bridle allows us the subtlest of touch and communication.

A quick search on our YouTube and INSTAGRAM channels will show you that Xanthe has ridden all her ponies in double bridles since she was small.

All of them also go in snaffles, without the need for martingales or tight nosebands, in all disciplines.

I say all of this because I know some believe a double bridle is only used when all other brakes have failed … This is not so in our case! ;)

Great opportunity to buy a talented, elegant registered British Sports Pony! Low mileage ( due to lack of rider) 12 year old bay 14.1hh mare.

She is trained to Medium BD scoring over 60% in her only affiliated competition - she has 24 BD points at elementary in few outings in 2019 She has successfully evented at BE 90 last year never below 5 th after dressage and being placed in 2 out of 3BE events last year finishing equal 1st in her last run at Bovington.

She has had numerous wins and placings in unaffiliated events. She would suit a small adult or confident, capable child who is keen to learn - she is not a novice ride as she has been trained and appreciates correct signals!

Ideal Badminton Grassroots pony!

Excellent in traffic, loading, etc. Only for sale as my granddaughter who I bred and trained her for has grown too tall.

She did compete her successfully in unaffiliated and NSEA competitions last year.

This lovely pony has been with us since my daughter was 12 and moved her from BE80s up to BE90s and wins at both levels

A super jump and BS winnings in few

Outings as Discovery.

Amazing on the flat and loves the dressage arena. Never silly and always puts his best foot forward in the dressage. Recently. My daughter has been doing dressage with him a she has grown a lot and he is consistently scoring high 70%s and low 80%s at Novice and now working at elementary.

I think this pony has FEI dressage potential and would suit a youngster as so lovely to ride. Super in the box, travel etc..

Travels in trailer or lorry happily, good to tie up etc...

Represented the Pony Club and school teams numerous times

Beautiful 2016 Irish mare standing at approximately 14.3hh.

This nicely bred little mare is a bright future prospect. Bambi is well put together, a true Irish stamp and a nice compact model.

She offers three comfortable paces on the flat, a snaffle mouth and already working in a nice shape. Bambi loves to jump! She shows a lot of promise over fences, proving to be careful with boldness.

Bambi has such a willing attitude and a quiet nature, she's keen to learn and improves every day. She's a mannerly little mare and gentle on the ground, easy to do and a pleasure to have in the yard.

Bambi has hacked out, this would be her greenest area but she hasn't proved to be tricky or challenging, she takes confidence from her rider and has proven to be absolutely brilliant in all ways, she seems older than her years and thrives of praise.

Open to any vet or trainer.

Cody is a very talented all rounder, excellent hunter, cross country pony, very well established flat work with natural flowing paces. Competed in all disciplines, hunted with the South Cheshire.

Incredibly well mannered on the ground and in the stable, easy to shoe, clip and load( wagon and trailer) 100 percent in all traffic, hacks alone or in company, never nappy.

Cody has a fabulous willing amenable temperament, no vices and no bad habits, he is a very sweet loving pony, he is a full up 14.2hh, forward going but safe, not suitable for a novice as keen to a fence, never stops at a fence, never bucks, rears or bolts.

Cody is being sold as my daughter has gone to university, he is very fit and ridden most days.

Cody does have a melanoma under his tail which does not affect him in anyway.

2013 Mare.

Tottie is extremely straightforward to ride on the flat and to a fence. Snaffle mouthed on all occasions, nicely responsive without being at all sharp or spooky. Extremely chilled out, doesnt alter at all whether your at home or away.

Basic flatwork is good, changes becoming established, and plenty of stride.

Easy to a fence, really knows her job. Extremely bold to a fence without any sillyness. Proving to have loads of scope, yet careful, genuine and forgiving.

Has jumped plenty of unaff with child jockey coming home with winnings. Had a brief spell jumping BS upto Newcomers with a less capable novice jockey when Tottie was just a 5/6yo. Her record is not a true reflection of her (having 4flt/8flt rounds).

Xc schooled, again extremely bold and a lot of fun.

Hacks on the buckle end alone or in company.

All the ability and potential to go very far BS or BE.

Or if your looking for a very special pony as a top class allrounder that will look after your jockey she is the one.

Beautifully made, 12 year old registered sports pony mare. Cece is an absolute super star with an endless list of achievements. She has the most fantastic temperament and character; bought from her breeder, ridden by my daughter since she was 11 years old, we have had the pleasure of owning Cece for the past 7 years.

Competing at 80/90/100, she has taken part in all PC activities, NSEA, Hickstead, BE and won an arena eventing 90/95 class at Blenheim. GCSE’s and poor Autumn weather scuppered last season. A levels and the pandemic have meant she’s had an easy year. She was placed in both outings last season, 1st in her 90 section at Dauntsey Park with a 25 dressage and double clear and was 5"" in 100 at Oxtalls. She regularly trains at 1m/1.10m and XC schools over novice fences and combinations. We believe she is a very serious pony trials prospect.

Cece is very well established on the flat with beautiful paces, good lateral work with more to give. She is naturally uphill and active with great presence. Placed numerous times in pure dressage competitions, qualifying for the NSEA Champs at Keysoe.

Cece is impeccably well behaved at any event. She has no vices, perfect in the stable and is excellent to shoe, clip, box etc. Happy to hack alone or in company, Cece is well used to heavy farm machinery. She is shod, fit and clipped, fully vaccinated, with teeth, back and saddle checks up to date. Cece currently travels in a horsebox but has travelled in a trailer.

This is a very sad sale of a beloved family member. Cece will only be sold to the right combination of home and jockey- references will be required. She has a full wardrobe of rugs, 2 Mickleham bridles, Albion MTM dressage and Black Country jumping saddles. No time wasters please, thank you.

148cm (LHC), 14yo, British warmblood, bay mare. Indy has excellent breeding by Catherson Goldstorm out of Island Star, and a granddaughter to the International Eventer and Olympic Dressage horse Dutch Gold.

Indy is a JC mare with a superb, careful, scopey jump and outstanding technique. We bought Indy to compete my last year of junior BS on but she was so much fun we kept her to jump seniors with for 2 years. She’s a jump off machine, a speed demon, no turn is too tight. Never spooky will jump any fillers or water trays. Always in the ribbons. Indy is most comfortable competing at 90-1m.

Indy also excels in dressage. With 3 flashy eye catching paces, carrying herself in a stunning outline. Indy does lateral movements and flying changes. We have only competed at 2 unaff dressage shows, coming home with a 1st and 2nd.

Indy is a cracking XC pony, nothing phases her. She will jump whatever you put in front of her and will always go straight through the water and over ditches.

Indy has also competed in NSEA events. Being part of 90cm & 1m teams, arena eventing and competing at the Keysoe Plate Champs 2018 as part of the 90cm team.

Indy hacks alone or in company. Never spooky. Will go past anything.

Indy will turn her hoof to anything and will always be in the rosettes. Indy would really enjoy a home where she could do a range of disciplines. Would make a lovely eventer.

Indy is a competition pony so is not a novice ride and also needs an experienced handler.

Vaccines, farrier, back and teeth all up to date.

Good to load, clip, shoe, catch. Open to any vetting.

A very heartbreaking sale of a truly amazing pony but I now need to concentrate on the horses. She has so much to give and to teach another rider. She is the ultimate fun pony for a competent rider. She will certainly leave a massive hole so 5* home is essential!!

Loads of pics and vids available. No loans or leases.

Woody is approx 13.2/3hh, 4y/o chestnut gelding by Applewitch Diversity.

He has 3 lovely paces and is ridden in a snaffle. He came 5th in the intro and and was placed in the prelim with 64% at his first show.

Woody loves to jump. He has jumped around a course of showjumps and is very brave and careful over fillers. He also jumped double clear at his first showjumping competition. He would make a top workers pony.

He hacks alone or in company.

He is good to stable, load in a lorry or trailer and have his feet trimmed.

Woody has no vices and is the most lovely pony with the most wonderful character. Ponies like this do not come along every day.

This is a very sad sale and he will only be sold to the best home. This is a pony that will go all the way in the WHP ring or equally be a fabulous competition or pony club pony.

A truly versatile pony that takes everything in his stride.

Heartbreaking sale of much loved pony who we have owned for nearly two years as my daughter is growing out of him and is wanting to concentrate on Eventing.

He is a Connemara X Irish sports horse.

He has been out numerous times sj and xc training and is jumping round 90/1m at home, he has a scopey jump and jumps fillers etc. He has also been out a couple of times unaffiliated dressage scoring mid 60’s and has done NSEA sj and dressage. Due to Covid obviously he hasn’t been out as much but has the potential in any sphere.

He is snaffle mouthed in all disciplines and is good to clip, shoe, box, and hacks alone or in company.

He is up to date with all vaccinations, worming, teeth and has regular physio checks.

He comes with tack and rugs and a loving home is very important to us as he is part of the family and will be very missed.

Cilla is a very impressive pony who loves to jump and oozes presence. As a four year old she went to her first stay away BSJA show, did lots of XC schooling and had regular professional schooling on the flat. We are entered into our first BE at Bovington mid April.

Currently schooling over 90cm courses both SJ and XC, nowhere near her limit but being only 5 this year I have ensured she hasn't been overjumped. She had a proper winter break and has recently been brought back into work, recent videos of SJ and XC training below.

She is brilliant to hack, hacked by my nervous mum and is the pony always designated to gate duty!

She can be nervous of other horses but this is improving with every outing and in time will become no issue at all. She is happily sharing with my gelding and has shared with mares in the past.

This is a very competitive pony with real potential, serious competition homes only. A rising 5 year old who takes you into fences and has the technique over them is a sort very hard to find. Ridden by a small adult so both making senior distances and adaptable back to juniors.

Comes with full wardrobe including fitted near new saddle.

He enjoys hacking out alone or in company and regularly leads the way for other nervous horses

He is bold and careful, taking everything in his stride

He has been out to unaff. Dressage and Show Jumping, where he produced a lovely, steady test, and jumped two double clears, never batting an eyelid in the busiest of collecting rings, standing quietly tied up at the box no fuss at all

Finn is a happy little chap, easy to have around, handled by small 11yr old girl at home

When Finn came to us, he was seen to crib,so I cannot guarantee he wouldn't do it again when he first moves home, this is therefore reflected in price

Clean limbs, good to shoe, clip, load, traffic

We have owned Buttons for just under a year and in that time we have done lots with him - Pony Club rallies, show jumping, tetrathlon, ODE, XC training and arena XC. Bought for my daughter after she lost her confidence when I over-horsed her, Buttons has allowed her to step down a gear and gather her thoughts!

Buttons is more kick to go than pull to stop but still responsive to the leg - my daughter is slight and she has never had to wear spurs on him. He is steady into a fence and steady out, maintaining a lovely rhythm all the way round a course, giving your child time to think and plan. He's never had a pole down jumping with us, he is always clean and careful. Buttons has never refused or ducked out either - his first inclination is always to get his jockey over to the other side. My daughter is happily jumping 60-70cm classes on him and he has scope to jump higher.

Buttons has a bit more about him when XC but has excellent brakes - my slight build daughter has never not been able to stop and he has never bolted. If he isn't warmed up properly he might put in an excited buck but nothing that she has not been able to sit. He has a soft mouth and can work in a lovely outline - he did unaffiliated dressage with his previous owner and was also shown in hand at county level. Buttons is a pleasure to take to shows, he's good to load and he'll happily stand by his haynet for hours without complaint!

We don't hack on roads so I can't say what he is like with traffic, however he is kept on a busy farm and has seen plenty of machinery. Good with dogs and children, doesn't kick or bite other horses or ponies. We don't leave him for weeks on end without being ridden but that being said, he doesn't need riding every day either.

To keep, Buttons is super easy - he lives out 24/7 with us and has never been lame, sick or sorry. Has lived out with other geldings and over the fence from mares but similarly happy to be in a field on his own with company nearby.

Buttons would suit an older child (11+) or small adult with riding experience - he isn't a first ridden and being quite chunky, needs a rider that can push him on to get the best out of him. We are selling because my daughter has decided to focus more on show jumping and needs a sportier model! However, we think the world of Buttons and he will only go to a knowledgeable, experienced home that is the right fit for him.

Good with farrier and vet, up to date with vaccinations, dentist and has been well maintained with regular physio appointments.

Made to measure Kent & Masters saddle available by separate negotiation.

Before I got her she was eventing up100 and I planed to event but I’m just not brave enough.

She is a sensitive and quirky mare and needs a confident rider so no novices please but in the right hands can take someone far.
