Clancy is a striking well-proportioned yet rangy colt, with lots of bone. He has a calm and inquisitive character so is very trainable, and his wonderful temperament will take him far and is just like his half-brother - Perlino Connemara Stallion TawnyDun Aengus.

Bred for quality, his jumping pedigree through his Connemara dam goes back to Westside Mirah and the prolific Sparrow lineage. His speed and TB quality come from his sire's exceptional bloodlines, back to the great Secretariat, and he takes after the thoroughbred in build.

He is very well grown and should mature at around 15.2 - 15.3hh, and will be an extremely versatile sport horse, with the flexibility for Junior or Senior competition in many disciplines. His athletic and balanced paces make flying changes look simple, and he finds quick turns easy!

With his extravagant, active paces and wonderful competition pedigree, his bright chestnut colour, distinctive blaze and laid back manner, he has the potential to be outstanding in any sphere, and form an excellent partnership in his future home.

Class 1 Connemara (graded) mare, 4 year old currently standing at 14’1.

We have had her since she was 3 year old where we have handled her a lot and done a lot of ground work.

Athena has had tack on and been sat on last year where she proved very willing. We have walked her down lane where she had seen light traffic and was very brave to lead, but have left her since then to grow and mature and for someone to now make their own mark on her.

She is not Marish at all and currently grazing with mares and geldings, can be handled while eating etc. she is good with farrier , vet, clip, bath, lead and catch and loads well on own in trailer or lorry.

She is fully vaccinated and wormed and had feet trimmed.

Athena did have a couple of sarcoids in non tack area so took the decision to have these lazed off in the winter to save anyone else dealing with them and healing well.

She would make a fab showing , working hunter or pony club pony and will be very easy to continue her education. N/N

She is homebred and has been handled from birth.D.O.B 22nd of May2022.

Her Sire is the buckskin stallion Killour Star. Her dam is at home with us so can be seen.

She stands 14.1hh at present. She walks out alone, with her saddle and bridle regularly and is happy with boots and rugs on.

She stands for the farrier who is due tomorrow.

Having retired and sold our lorry Sky is loaded into a pony trailer which is a field shelter but has not travelled.

Her flu and tetanus are up to date.

He is friendly and easy to do. He has been handled by my 11 year old niece and regularly led about the farmu my son with ease.

He is very well bred and I am sure he will be something special.

A very sad sale because we bred him to keep but circumstances have changed.

He has great potential to excel in any discipline. Correct conformation, great bone, and straight moving. He is forward thinking and eager to please, would best suit a competent rider who can further his education.

Great in open spaces, he was hacking around open fields on his own within a week of being sat on. Goes first or last, hacks alone and in company.

He has not jumped under saddle, but happily trots over poles and has been around fillers. Has loose jumped once and showed plenty of scope.

Ideally wants to be turned away and brought back as a 4yr old, our lack of field space to do this means we are looking for a 5* home.

No stable vices and is open for any vetting. Happy to be turned out alone or with company, and has been stabled in a busy yard with machinery passing every day so is used to a busy atmosphere.
