This is a genuine and sad sale. As I have just had ACL and Miniscus reconstruction surgery (knee). At first burying my head in the sand about how long my recovery will take

Charlie has been ignored now since the middle of November, so is not looking his best!! And is therefore being sold for a reduced price, from the field, because of this

He’s an ex-racehorse who ran very successfully on the flat, retiring sound and coming with his own fan-club from his racing days

Due to being such an easy character, he remained in training for extra time, to teach a lad in the yard to ride, he went from never having ridden, to riding in a race, using Charlie as the schoolmaster. 

He’s very easy on the flat. He has won and been placed at riding club dressage. He’s also always top 10 after dressage at his ODE starts. He’s very careful SJing, never touching a pole. Very bold XC too

Good in traffic. Also did a few 10mile fun rides where he behaved perfectly. 

All that said, he is an ex-racehorse who can have his ‘fresh’ days. So no novices please!!! 

He also isn’t established into life outside of racing. So while he’s perfect to hack out with friends, he lacks confidence on his own. (Never naps, just shouts for friends sometimes and is a bit ‘busy’ to get home)
