FLASHY PROJECT

Ref #: 264849
  • Ideal project for an experienced home
£2,500
  • Welsh Section D
  • Gelding
  • 8 years
  • 14.2 hands
  • Ideal project for an experienced home

14.2hh 8yo flaxen liver chestnut Welsh Sec D with four white socks. Gelding Synod Apollo x Parvadean Reload. Ideal project for an experienced home.

Benson is a very attractive, flashy stamp. Shown very successfully as a youngster as a Section C. Reclassified as a Section D July 2020.

He has a great character and is a sweet, friendly chap who requires firm and consistent handling. Benson respects boundaries and backs down very quickly from confrontation but he does need those boundaries to be set in order to respect them. He is not at all nasty, but he could be bolshy if allowed to be.

Under saddle Benson has mostly been a leisure or childs pony and is very green in the school. He moves very well and has shown quality over a fence. He has been cross country schooling, hacking and ridden in open fields and is always in a snaffle. Benson is great in traffic.

Benson can throw a buck in protest if asked to do something he doesn’t want but he will take correction and I am sure that he will come on quickly with the right rider. Benson requires a confident, competent and forward thinking rider to progress his education and turn him into the quality, fun pony he is crying out to be!

For sale on behalf of a client. Serious enquiries to please call only. Texts and messages may not be answered. All videos can be found on the Amy Derber Equestrian Facebook page just search for Benson.

16.1hh 5yo bay registered ISH mare Future Trend x Colin Diamond x Clover Hill. Top quality event and allround prospect with a sweet disposition.

A quality athletic, blood model bred for sport with good limbs. Sporty, attractive and correct with a beautiful head. Gives a great feeling under saddle. Plenty of controlled power nicely contained into a straightforward ride. Still green and wobbly but very willing and trainable. A pleasure to work with.

Moves well with good expression and is showing good work on the flat. Still weak in her frame but takes the contact well with a good mouth, never strong or silly. Out at training shows now at Prelim level and would do pure dressage.

Throws a great shape over a fence with plenty of scope. Gives you confidence on the way in and is nice and straight. Very rideable, holds her rhythm well and tries her best. Out jumping training shows confidently, improving with every outing and soon ready for a British Novice. Bold cross country, good with water, ditch and bank. Doesn't get hot or silly, focuses on the job with a great attitude. Quick thinking and good on her feet with good length of stride to make the time.

Has done fun rides and is out hunting now, always in a snaffle. Mannerly and polite, doesn't get hot. A real pleasure in every way. Really has not put a foot wrong with us so far and continues to answer every question sweetly.

Hacks out alone and in company. Good in traffic and in open spaces. Good to handle and do on the ground, very user friendly and the ideal amateurs horse to produce on with scope for Novice and beyond. No quirks or vices, a real pleasure to do.

Price will increase the more we do with her.

GENUINE SWEETHEART

  • Quality mare with a super temperament available at bargain price

15.2hh 4yo registered ISH mare OBOS Quality x Colin Diamond x Clover Hill. Quality mare with a super temperament available at bargain price.

Croia is a lovely compact model with a sweet outlook. She is a real character who bursts with personality and makes us laugh every day! She is so inquisitive and into everything and just always wants to know what is going on. She always has a smile on her face and has a real lust for life which is contagious and we just really want the most lovely home for her that will really appreciate her for who she is.

Crois is a quality mover across 3 expressive paces, starting to show some good work into the bridle. She gives a lovely feeling under saddle and is forward and bonnie without being at all sharp or silly. Very genuine just green in her schooling but tries hard and will come on quickly with the right rider. Real potential for pure competitive dressage.

Croia pops a cross pole or a log very sweetly but hasn't done much jumping yet.

Brilliant to hack both alone and in company. Good on the roads and in open spaces, not at all strong or silly and would make a super happy hacker, allrounder or hunter. Has been ridden by riders of varying ability showing herself to be a kind, forgiving and genuine mare.

No quirks or vices, she is just a busy girl with a real enthusiasm for life and heaps of personality! She is good to do on the ground in all ways and is a very loving, affectionate mare that we absolutely love having around.

Croia has a cataract in her left eye. It is thought to have been there from birth, does not affect her vision and is not considered to be degenerative in any way. Whilst this does not affect her in her day to day life it will affect her ability to pass a vetting and she is priced to reflect this.

Serious enquiries to please call only. Texts, messages and e-mails may not be answered. Videos can be found on Facebook just search Amy Derber Equestrian Croia.

  • Double dilute - guaranteed to throw palomino, dun or smokey black foals
  • A truly versatile stallion producing stock for all disciplines
  • Livery available for visiting mares
  • Please call to book in your mare or to order semen

Orlando is not your traditional Section D and because of that he is able to offer bone and substance to the likes of a TB or WB mare, but also, with his beautiful dished head and lighter frame, he is able to refine the more traditional D or heavier mare. A huge selling point for him is obviously his ability to produce a dilute foal! To a chestnut mare he guarantees to produce a palomino every single time. To bay and black mares he can produce buckskin, palomino and smokey black foals.

Orlando is WPCS licensed and is graded with the SPSS, taking Central Grading Champion for 2020 and Reserve Champion for Britain 2020. He was also the first Section D in AES history to be graded with the society. At both gradings he gained fabulous marks but the stand out would have to be 9's and 10's for his jumping ability and an 8.75 for his canter work!

Orlando is unique in many ways. He has shown his worth not just from the babies he has produced at the stud but for the mare owners who have used him, many of them several times over! A true allrounder, he has proven himself in the dressage arena and is now also proving himself in eventing and showjumping. He is the ultimate all rounder producer.... The type of stallion that can sire a foal who can go out and do a nice medium dressage test on Saturday and a 1.10m showjumping course on Sunday. The type of horse that you can leave out without a rug on in the rain and its not going to have melted away or become a major drama queen because you've dared to leave it out over night, The type that are intelligent and willing to learn and place implicit trust in you as their owner and rider. Who wouldn't want that? Then to top it off... All of that in a beautiful golden colour package. What more could there be?

£500 NFFR. £450 for visiting mares.

Collection fee applies for chilled orders which will be sent by Royal Mail next day delivery. Orders must be placed by 9am for next day delivery.

Livery and vet packages available for visiting mares.

SERIOUS CONTENDER

£12,500

  • A serious contender for sport with an old head on young shoulders and the most genuine and trainable nature

16hh 4yo Irish Sports Horse type gelding. No breeding recorded. A serious contender for sport or hunting with an old head on young shoulders and the most genuine and trainable nature. Talented enough for a professional, straightforward and genuine enough for a competent amateur. Out competing and hunting regularly now.

This guy is a complete freak of nature for his combination of brain, temperament and ability. A smart, athletic model with a bit of substance and plenty of frame still to fill. He is very level headed and super consistent - he is exactly the same every day, wherever he is, whether that's schooling at home, hacking, competing or hunting.

Moves very well across all 3 paces. Big walk, active trot and a powerful, uphill canter. So much room still to improve with strength and maturity. He works nicely into the bridle and offers balanced, clean transitions for his age. Still green with much to improve on but is out getting respectable marks at Prelim level already, including a 31 at his first event showing that he is certainly capable of sub 30 scores in future with the right rider. He is big moving and a forward, responsive ride who tries very hard to do what he thinks you are asking so he needs a balanced, competent rider with an independent seat. The better you ride him the better he goes. Would do pure dressage.

One of the boldest horses I've sat on to a fence. Showing immense scope and desire to clear the jump and leave it up. Out competing regularly now, well balanced and rhythmical round a course and never looks at a thing. Locks on, takes you in whilst still staying rideable and gives every fence his absolute best shot, stays straight through doubles and combinations. Plenty of stride, opens up very well cross country so should not struggle to make the time. Showing an incredibly mature head out and about, unphased by the atmosphere and goings on of an event. Ready for a British Novice now. Has done an ODE at 80, ready for a BE90 with plenty of scope to produce on.

Out doing fun rides and hunting now with the bloodhounds, continuing to keep a sane and level head at all times whilst keen and capable to answer all questions. Mannerly and polite at all times.

Balto is a serious contender for any discipline and is ready to crack on and continue where we leave off. He hasn't been hammered in the school, rather that time has been spent taking him out and about and seeing as much of the world as possible.

Hacks alone and in company, good on the roads and in open spaces. Leads or follows. Sound with no medical history or notes. Balto is good to handle on the ground and to do, he lives in or out and is currently living out in a herd. Very straightforward and a pleasure to have around.

Very genuine, willing and trainable horse who enjoys the job and has never been ridden badly or had a bad experience. He has plenty of scope for a competitive amateur to produce on seriously into any discipline and the attitude and maturity to make it such a rewarding experience. Absolutely no quirks or vices but he is a quality sports horse and not a dog or a donkey so needs to be treated with due respect.

Serious enquiries to please call only. Texts, e-mails and WhatsApp messages may not be answered. All video can be found on the Facebook page just search Amy Derber Equestrian Balto.

Enthusiastic Allrounder

Ref #: 264030
  • Loves to jump and is super over a fence
  • Plenty of potential BS or BE
£8,500
  • Grey
  • Gelding
  • 8 years
  • 16.1 hands
  • Loves to jump and is super over a fence
  • Plenty of potential BS or BE

Irish Sports Horse type gelding. No breeding recorded. A fun, forward ride with bundles of personality looking for a like-minded partner for adventure!

Clooney is a sporty compact model - very much a pony type but who moves like a horse! He is a forward, responsive ride who approaches most things with great enthusiasm and requires a confident, competent rider who isn't going to take themselves, or him, too seriously. Every time I ride him I'm smiling and laughing, he is so much fun and so funny and we really are looking for someone for him who will get his sense of humour! He isn't naughty or nasty but can have the occasional wobble or brain melt where he needs someone who will laugh at him and tell him to shut up and get on with it. Absolutely not for a novice, princess or wet lettuce.

Clooney moves very well across all paces and is showing good work on the flat. Still a little green and the canter is still a little weak but tries extremely hard and is out competing at Prelim level now. Will move up the levels easily. Clooney is a great mover, is very trainable and is very happy to school, learn and compete but I think he does want more from life than a pure dressage home.

Clooney loves to jump and is super over a fence. He is bold, athletic, quick-thinking and can take a miss. He takes you to the fence and is quick over the ground. Currently competing at 90cm and is just a bit green still in the ride. Improves and grows in confidence with every outing, the more he does the better he gets. He will suit a forward thinking, competitive rider who is as bold as he is! He has plenty of potential BS or BE with scope for at least Newcomers and BE Novice with the right rider. He has done fun rides and hunting and would certainly team chase.

Clooney hacks out alone and in company and will lead or follow. Again, suits a forward thinking, positive rider and would not suit a low level happy hacking home. He is a happy, cheerful character who likes to be busy and is looking for an active lifestyle.

Good to do on the ground and in all ways. Can be a bit busy and fidgety - sense of humour sometimes required! He has tons of character and personality and is very much an extrovert!

Serious enquiries to please call only. Texts, emails and messages may not be answered. All video can be found on Facebook just search Amy Derber Equestrian Clooney.

Serious Future Prospect

  • Gelding

  • Shows fantastic scope over a fence
  • Super bold and really gives every fence his absolute best effort
  • Done fun rides and would also certainly team chase and hunt

Eligible ROR. A straightforward, lovable and serious competition horse in the making for a ridiculous price.

Scatty is a real yard favourite. He is a wonderful, sporty, athletic model with good limbs and feet. Sound in wind and limb but does have a few very small sarcoids on his sheath.

Scatty moves very well across all 3 paces and would do pure dressage with the right producing. He is a forward and responsive ride but can be a bit idle on the flat. Shows really nice work into the contact in all 3 paces he just needs to strengthen up a bit more to improve his consistency and straightness. Out competing at unaffiliated Prelim level now.

Scatty shows fantastic scope over a fence. He is super bold and really gives every fence his absolute best effort. He is very careful both in front and behind, wanting to give the fences plenty of room and gives you a fantastic feeling - like you can jump the moon. He is a little green in his ringcraft which improves with every outing and he is comfortably competing at 80cm regularly now. Soon ready for a British Novice or BE90 with plenty of scope to move up the levels. Cross country schooled with a great attitude and plenty of stride, certainly scope for at least 2* with the right production.

Has done fun rides and would also certainly team chase and hunt.

Scatty hacks alone and in company and is good on the roads in open spaces. He has no quirks or vices and will live in or out. he currently lives out in a herd. He is very straightforward and user friendly and is a real pet to have around. He is a kind, gentle, affectionate soul who loves a chat and a cuddle. He is one of the most rewarding horses I've ever had the privilege to work with as he tries so hard and has the most fantastic, trainable and willing attitude to work.

Not at all sharp or strong but not boring either. He is a lot of fun and always makes me smile. A real yard favourite that we have all so enjoyed preparing for his new career. A serious sports prospect and horse of a lifetime for the right rider. Home is of utmost importance!
