  • 17hh 5yo full Irish Draught chestnut gelding Western Blues x Grovesnor Lad.

Incredibly smart, upstanding, eye-catching model of a horse, a proper traditional Irish Draught with plenty of bone and athleticism. Would certainly show. For a big horse he is light on his feet and in the hand, very rideable. Moves well without throwing you about and is a real armchair ride. Plenty of front to make you feel secure but does not ride big, is not wide and is comfortably ridden here by lady jockeys up to 5ft2.

Did several days out hunting last season in Ireland. Has not hunted this season due to lockdown but is definitely one to look ahead with to next season.

Incredibly bold to a fence, doesn't look at a thing. Jumps showjumps and natural fences with good technique. Scopey and careful without sending you into orbit to get the job done! A very comfortable and secure feeling under saddle.

Hacks out well, good in traffic. Good to do in all ways.

Forward and responsive, he has real quality to him and is not at all a kickalong type. Not for a novice. Would suit a confident and competent rider and is ideally suited to hunting but would be a top end allrounder with plenty of potential and ability.

16.1hh 10yo Irish mare. Super hunter/jumper, forward but sensible. No breeding recorded.

A sturdy leg in each corner weight carrier who manages to stay both light on her feet and light in the bridle. She is a forward, responsive, sensitive ride who is great fun for the right rider - she really has the smile factor! Suitable for lady, gentleman or competent teen. Has Pony Clubbed and is a straightforward mare who likes to be ridden quietly and allowed to get with the job.

Big, active paces with a great hind leg. Works nicely into a soft hand and has good basic lateral work. Will do a decent test with the right riding but we are not selling her as a dressage horse.

Loves to jump and is incredibly bold to a fence. Enormous fun who you can't help grinning on. Rideable and adjustable to a fence, can be shortened and bounced like a ball but keeps moving forward and commits to the last strides. When she is going she is going - very much a point and shoot type who is happy to help you out and doesn't overjump. Ready to get out competing now with scope for at least Newcomers. Has cross country schooled, hunter trialed, done fun rides and hunting.

Great to hack, goes alone and in company and is good in traffic. Very easy, straightforward mare on the ground. Very easy to handle with no vices.

16hh rising 5yo sports horse gelding Handels Classic x Eurocommerce Rome. Well-related serious showjump, allround or hunt prospect.

Full brother to Love Handel C.S from a proven performance damline. Compact, powerful, athletic model. Showing good work on the flat and has been backed and produced by small lady riders. Moves very well with a big trot and naturally uphill canter. Offering clean changes round a course.

Jumped training shows and British Novice on a ticket last year. Naturally careful and quick over the ground, has been given time to mature and hasn't been over-faced. Low-mileage due to Covid. Good to a fence and clever with his feet, tries very hard and wants to leave them up. Straightforward enough for a competent amateur or teen.

Has also done some basic cross country schooling. Done hound exercise where he behaved impeccably and would certainly make a great hunter. Only hasn't done more due to shortened Covid season.

Hacks out, good on the roads and in open spaces. Tyke is a real character who will make you laugh every day. Same home since a foal, full history known. Very willing, trainable, genuine horse with a bright future. Lives in or out, plays well with others.

Quality sports horse who needs a job to do, not suitable for a novice or as a happy hacker.

Serious enquiries to call only - texts will not be answered. All videos can be found on the Amy Derber Equestrian facebook page just search the name 'Tyke.'

  • A lovely stamp with no vices, just character, looking for a confident and capable rider with a similar sense of humour!

15.2hh rising 6yo bay registered Irish Draught mare.

Minnie is a quality little horse and ideal project for a confident and capable rider who isn't intimidated by a strong independent woman!

Backed in March and brought on very slowly, given lots of time to mature. She is a forward and responsive ride, with an active and trainable brain - she really does improve with every ride. Minnie is a spirited, opinionated young lady who likes to have her say. However she is open to conversation and will admit when she's wrong. She isn't at all nasty or stubborn. She would best suit a non-confrontational rider who enjoys a bit of spirited conversation without taking it to heart!

Minnie has 3 active, rhythmical paces with a lovely uphill canter. She is starting to take the contact and will do a lovely test in time with not a huge amount of work.

She is bold and rideable to a fence. Still green but shows a great attitude to it and has been schooling over fillers. She has the potential to be a super grassroots event prospect.

Minnie is excellent to hack. She loves it and will happily stomp out into the lead. Good in the traffic and bold with all obstacles, not much phases her at all! Not spooky or sharp, goes alone and in company. Awesome trail horse who could also potentially do low level endurance.

Minnie is very good to do on the ground and is an affectionate, personable character. She can be girthy and pull faces but she is all mouth no trousers. A lovely stamp with no vices, just character, looking for a confident and capable rider with a similar sense of humour!

Exceptional Hunting Cob

  • A real thruster type who likes to be up the front where the action is jumping the big stuff
  • Great to hack, not phased by traffic

Merlin is an exceptional hunter with 6 straight verified seasons under his belt. He is a real thruster type who likes to be up the front where the action is jumping the big stuff. Great with hounds, always mannerly but really knows the job and wants someone who will let him get on with it. Super bold, jumps anything and everything including hedges, walls, rails and ditches - no one has told him that he's only little and he never says no. Highly admired on the field with a bit of a fanbase! Merlin would prefer a rider who is as bold as he is, looking for a top day on the field with a super reliable turbo cob!

Great to hack, not phased by traffic. Not at all spooky or silly. Leads or follows, goes alone and in company. He is so incredibly bold with an enormous amount of scope and excellent technique so he would certainly showjump in the off season. Would also be ideal for hunter trials, tetrathlon, fun rides, beach rides etc. He has definitely got the fun factor.

Merlin does not enjoy working in the school. He can work sweetly and is certainly obedient enough but he would definitely rather be doing something else. He will not suit a home where he would be expected to spend a lot of time in the school and isn't interested in doing a dressage test.

Excellent to handle on the ground with absolutely no quirks or vices, ifs or buts. Very straightforward in every way and an easy keeper just a normal cheeky pony! Merlin would like to go to a predominantly hunting home with a capable and confident rider for maximum enjoyment.

Price includes all tack and extensive wardrobe. For sale on behalf of a client. Serious enquiries to please ring in the first instance. Texts and e-mails won't be answered. All video can be found on the Amy Derber Equestrian Facebook page.
