Friendly, happy little chap looking for a new best mate to go and have so much fun with. Current owner purchased for her very uninterested son and has finally admitted defeat and pony needs to find a new home as he’s far too good to be wasted as a field ornament.
Previous home he was there for 2 years, mostly as a lead rein pony, and has taken part in fun rides, PC rallies, lessons, hacking and shows on the lead and been a star, but was then outgrown and sold to current owners.
He enjoys jumping and is not phased by fillers, has seen games equipment etc.
Off lead he works independently in a nice little shape and responsive enough to not need kicking along but not a super speedy pony and slows down when asked however can be cheeky and try his luck so for off lead he needs a confident, competent rider rather than someone really nervous. He would best be described as a 1.5 level pony for a keen child. He would perhaps suit someone spending some time on the leadrein and then transitioning off as they will know how he goes and that he means nothing by it, he is not nasty but can pull for grass or to the gate etc if he thinks he can get away with it so needs someone that will keep him busy.
He is at his happiest tootling along with someone giggling away on top, making up games for them and just enjoying him.
He is fab to hack, great with farm machinery, motorbikes etc. Used to a busy farm environment and doesn't bat an eye at tractors etc right next to him. Goes through water, up and down steps etc.
He is a real gent on the ground and tiny humans can do everything with him, catching, leading, stabling, grooming, picking feet, bathing, feeding, mucking out round him, loading and general pampering, plaiting and glittering, (fairy dress and all!)
He is good for the farrier (he has fronts on when doing more work but is currently barefoot with good feet) loads and travels perfectly, good to bath and clip and for the vet. Good to catch.
He will stand on the yard with toy (and real!) tractors right behind him, footballs bouncing by, dogs backwards and forwards and doesn't blink.
Sold with tack and rugs.
Seen at livery.
