Grandam Paloma in turn jumped at Grand Prix and World Cup level under top rider Eric van der Vleuten and has already produced the successful show jumpers Ferm and Ulomus in breeding. Maximus' great-grandmother Sjaloma is one of the best breeding mares from the famous Loma line; she produced the approved stallions Furore and Jaguar and was the basis for many international sport horses, including the famous Voyeur. Under Kent Farrington, Voyeur jumped to Olympic team silver in 2016 and an individual fifth place in Rio de Janeiro.
