Kim is a quality sports horse (Irish Draught x Hanoverian) with correct conformation, who can add quality, substance and a good temperament to the mix with your chosen stallion.
She is a proven brood mare, has taken first time (frozen AI) and foaled easily. Fantastically polite, sensible and good to handle, showing herself to be a wise Mum, chilled with the vets, chilled with other horses and making my first horse breeding adventure an absolute joy! Her colt foal (born Jun 23) is very smart, cool as a cucumber and doing well with his training, having picked up his Mum’s lovely temperament.
She has been a good hunter, jumper and all round competition horse. She has developed arthritic changes in one front pastern. She is field sound, does not require medication and is very comfortable as a brood mare but not as a riding horse.
Kim is vaccinated, teeth checked at Christmas, worm count clear and wormed for tape/encysted. Her feet are excellent and trimmed regularly.
These days Kim lives outside and holds her condition ridiculously easily. She has been turned out on the fell over Winter without additional feed and is looking super fit and well.
Kim is really really happy and content in her new life as a brood mare, she loves living with her horse friends and I am hoping beyond hope that she can find this in her new home. Unfortunately, I don’t have the luxury of space to keep her as well as a riding horse for me…..but I am prepared to seriously negotiate on price if I can find the right home for this beautiful horse.
I am prepared to provide transport to deliver her to her new home and see her settled in.
