Super Temperament & Lovely Conformation. Parsnip is a quality homebred 4-year-old gelding with a fantastic nature and correct, athletic conformation.

Standing around 15.2hh, he is developing into a lovely young horse with plenty of ability and a very exciting future ahead.

He has been well handled from day one and has now been professionally backed and is riding away nicely. He is working well in walk, trot and canter, proving to have an old head on young shoulders. He is sensible, willing and straightforward for his age, while still being a young horse to continue producing and developing.

Parsnip has been a pleasure to produce so far. He hacks lovely, is good to shoe with the farrier, and loads easily into both lorry and trailer. He takes everything in his stride and is showing a kind, trainable attitude to all that is asked of him.

He has naturally balanced paces and works in a nice rhythm, and shows a lovely, tidy shape over a loose jump. He is not yet being jumped under saddle, but is proving to be careful and honest with a good technique loose.

He could turn his hoof to a variety of disciplines including eventing, showjumping, riding club or hunting. A fun, athletic young horse ready for someone to continue his education and put their own stamp on him.

By an Irish Sport Horse mare who has jumped to 1.40m, and a sire who jumped to 1.20m with numerous Bronze League wins and a superb temperament, he has quality breeding to match his attitude.
