An exceptional British-bred three-year-old event prospect combining two Elite British Breeding Futurity assessments, outstanding movement and a direct female line to one of the most successful families in modern eventing.
Makin Graceland - “Frodo” - is a homebred gelding by Timolin (Totilas) out of Jamakin Faerie Folklaur, by Lauriston.
His maternal granddam is CCI5 mare Pencos Crown Jewel, who is a maternal half-sister to Lordships Graffalo, both being out of Cornish Queen.
Frodo has achieved ELITE status at both of his last British Breeding Futurity evaluations.
As a two-year-old he scored 9.125 ELITE, with:

His official assessment describes a long stride, plenty of freedom through the shoulder, elastic movement, rounded impulsion and carrying balance.
Returning to the Futurity as a three-year-old, he again achieved ELITE status, confirming the quality seen the previous year.
A big, beautiful and athletic horse with three excellent paces, a particularly impressive canter and a powerful natural jump. He has all the presence, scope and quality we hoped for when we bred him.
Frodo has been allowed time to mature and has not been rushed. He is well handled and is now being professionally backed at Catherston Stud, where his education will continue while he is advertised.
He has been bred and owned by us from birth, so his full history is known.
We believe he is a genuinely exciting prospect for an ambitious event rider or professional looking for a quality young horse to produce through the age classes and, we hope, considerably further.
