Mattie is a 15.3hh, just turned 13yr old (May 2012) fully registered KFPS Friesian mare with great bloodlines.

Mattie is lovely to school and is at Elementary level, working towards medium. Her half pass is a work in progress and she has established leg yields, shoulder-ins and mediums in trot and canter, and simple changes.

She is incredibly sweet on the ground and is super easy to do in all ways.

Mattie’s great to clip, fab for the farrier and the dentist too. She is up to date with all vaccinations, dental check ups etc and is currently barefoot. She loads and travels well in all vehicles (trailer, 3.5t and 7.5t) and has no vices.

We have competed (unaffiliated as I prefer taking part in clinics) and also enjoyed forest hacks, beach rides, farm rides, fun rides, camps etc. She’s incredibly safe and sensible, but still a lovely forward ride. She will go in front or behind, alone or in a huge group. I take her everywhere on my own and she’s patient stood by the box with no silly behaviour.

I’m happy to share her full vet history and provide references from instructors, dentist, farrier, physiotherapists, and others who know her well. She has stayed sound and healthy over the past 9 years. I’m in touch with her previous owner and breeder too.

Genuine reason for sale as I’m now focusing on eventing my other horses.
