A beautiful stamp of a pony , Rowan (Rowhill Forelock ) is 5 years old (June 2021) Bay Roan. He is currently standing at 142cm.

He is Registered New Forest by the popular Stallion Portmore Thunder Cloud

Rowan was Graded with the New Forest pony society in April 2023.

PSSM1 negative

He was born in the New Forest and ran with his mother till he was 6 months old.

He has been successful in hand showing having gained first place at Lincolnshire County Show and reserve champion in 2022.

Rowan has a kind trainable temperament. Good conformation and paces.

He is a true HOYS prospect and will make a superb M &M working hunter or could easily go down the eventing/ dressage route.

Rowan was kept entire and backed last summer and ridden away , he went to some pole clincs and hacks alone and in company. He has been proffessionally backed and produced and has schooled over coloured and XC fences. He works correctly on the flat and has 3 balanced and correct paces and a good understanding of lateral work.

We made the decision to geld him in November 2025 as we decided he would have more options and a better life. Rowan has had a couple of months off following his operation and is now coming back into work. he is currently doing some natural horsemanship work as well as been long reining round the village and country roads. He also lunges well and travels well in a lorry.

Rowan is stabled and turned out adjacent to mares.

He is a true quality pony and will make an exciting ridden prospect and has got HOYS potential.
