1999 Leyland DAF FA 45/130 Compact lorry, short wheel base, side loading horse with over 2 ton payload.

Really easy to drive and manoeuvre. Manual transmission.
Not a tilt cab but in the living area there is an inspection hatch, hence maintenance has never been a problem.
Reversing camera/camera to horse area. Bluetooth radio.

Horse Area - height 7ft 6”, length 6ft 7” long to breast bar. Horses travel rear facing, plenty of space for 2 big horses, there is a walkway between the partitions, rear access door with steps.

Double tack locker to rear, goes into horse area but doesn’t affect their space in any way. External locker in skirt of lorry on drivers side.

Living area -
Cut through cab.
Daily living with wardrobe, 2 overhead cupboards, double bench seat with storage space underneath and a table
Extremely spacious sleeping area above the Luton with plenty of head room (space for double mattress).


MOT until 30th November 25, no advisories on most recent test. New tyres July 2023. Owned for nearly 8 years and has been regularly maintained and serviced.

Fantastic reliable lorry, taken us all over the country, sadly for sale due to now needing a lorry with slightly bigger living.

Mileage 223,000km but will increase as will continue to be used until sold.
