Top Class Full Up 148 Connemara gelding …a top track prospect, this gentleman oozes natural talent with a lovely scopey technique over fences and ground covering stride, making him a great candidate for next year’s HOYS Newcomer and Foxhunter championships. Has the potential to make his way to the top of the European pony circuit over time (BS/BE), or be a top class all rounder.

Imported by John Breen early 2023, this well bred Connie can jump 1.25m+ with ease. After a stint with a top Belgian pony rider to produce, he was brought back to the UK early 2024 to start his BS career in the hands of a then 12 year old. With an FEI measure in place, the pair quickly gathered wins and placings including an 8th at POYS, and started to collect his Novice, Discovery and Newcomer double clears. Has jumped in the Hickstead International Ring in the summer 2024 NSEA Hickstead Junior Championship and has just jumped in the BS Nationals Discovery Final 2025. Now starting to collect Newcomers and Foxhunter clears for 2026.

Slowly and carefully brought on in recent months, a low points HOYS prospect, he ticks every box for someone wanting to finish producing him up through the HOYS Newcomers and Foxhunter classes, with plenty of scope to go further.

This superb pony is a real contender for the American market for hunter jumpers or equitation. Beautiful on the flat, automatic changes and rides in a level correct manner to his fences. He is also brave over XC fences, and has hunted. With development he would also make a genuine top quality allrounder /FEI event candidate for pony trials.

Super safe, never sharp or silly, lovely to hack alone or in company, and is good to load, shoe and excellent to clip. A friendly young humorous gentleman to have on the yard, he is easy to handle and a delight to have around.
