Honey is our stunning 15.2hh, 10 year-old Irish Sport Horse mare with the most wonderful temperament and a fantastic CV.

Honey has been a much-loved member of our family for the past three years, and in that time she has truly done it all. She has competed in showjumping, cross-country, dressage, combined training, taken part in sponsored rides, beach rides and countless fun outings. She has competed successfully in BS and is bold, genuine and always up for her job.

She has proven herself to be an exceptional family horse, happily ridden by both myself and my mum. Honey has an incredibly sensible nature and isn’t spooky or silly. She takes everything in her stride, whether she’s hacking through open spaces, along busy main roads or past heavy traffic and farm machinery. She is the type of horse you can simply get on and enjoy.

Honey is a pleasure to take out and about. She loads and travels brilliantly in trailers, 3.5 tonne and 7.5 tonne lorries, and regularly goes out to competitions and clinics without batting an eyelid. She settles quickly wherever she goes and behaves impeccably away from home.

On the yard, Honey is an absolute pleasure to own. She is easy to catch, groom, tack up and bathe, stands perfectly for the farrier, and is up to date with vaccinations, worming and routine care.

During her time with us she has lived on a few different yards and has always settled in with ease. She has happily lived in both herd and individual turnout and is equally content living in or out.

This is an incredibly difficult sale of a horse who means the world to us. 
I have now finished university and have now started a new full-time job meaning I can no longer give Honey the time she deserves. She has given me absolutely everything, so finding her the perfect long-term home is our highest priority.

Her custom-fitted Antares tack is also available by separate negotiation.
