OLIVE — STRIKING KNABSTRUPPER × OLDENBURG MARE
5 Rising 6 | 15.2hh | £6,000
An exciting opportunity to acquire a talented, eye-catching sport horse with an exceptional temperament and a promising competitive future.
Olive is a beautiful spotted Knabstrupper × Oldenburg mare from jumping and dressage bloodlines, combining three expressive, flashy paces with a bold, scopey jump and a fantastic attitude towards her work.
An intelligent, athletic and versatile mare, Olive has all the attributes to excel in a variety of disciplines. She is brave, genuine and willing, with the movement, ability and presence to make a competitive sport horse.
Previously under saddle, Olive has demonstrated a careful, scopey jump and a sensible, confident approach to her ridden work.
She hacks alone and in company, is happy out in open countryside and is sensible with gates. Ridden in a loose-ring snaffle, she has a kind and trainable attitude.
Her temperament is one of her greatest assets. Olive is incredibly loving, affectionate and sweet-natured, making her an absolute pleasure to have around.
She is good to load, travel, shoe and clip. She is straightforward and pleasant to handle in all aspects of her groundwork.
CURRENT STATUS & OPPORTUNITY
Olive has enjoyed time away from ridden work to have her foal and is now ready to begin the next chapter of her career.
She is being offered at £6,000 in her current condition, before being brought back into work.
This presents an excellent opportunity for someone to purchase a quality mare, put their own stamp on her and produce her through the levels.
Should Olive remain with us and be brought back into ridden work, her asking price will increase accordingly.
