Hero is a super genuine horse who is kind natured and very affectionate horse.
He is a gorgeous Dark Bay Gelding who is 9 years old. We have owned him since a two year old where we imported him from Belgium, we have taken our time in producing him therefore he is totally unspoilt and a really lovely natured horse, a true gentle giant!
This last season he has has hunted a full season with female and male riders, he is easy going takes everything in his stride and is a solid type who will hunt all day and is a super comfy ride. This summer we have taken him out cross country training and he has loved it - and jumped everything in sight.
He has excellent confirmation and is a true leg in each corner type of horse - he is currently unshod as he has amazing feet - but he has shod before and is good to do in all ways - Hero hacks out well and goes well in traffic and has seen all sorts with us and when he is out hunting.
On the videos below he is ridden by a 17 year old girl who hasn't rode him much, and regularly ridden by a novice rider so you can see how he adapts to his riders - he is a really safe and genuine horse.
He is bold and brave over rustic and coloured fences and has an excellent jump and happily pops around a course of fences and he isn't phased with going to shows and has recently been ridden and hunted my a small female teenager and as you can see from the video he is exceptionally honest in all ways.
He has recently been out on hound exercise and will be going out too over the next few weeks as he really enjoys it and is exceptionally well mannered - he is fit and ready to go.
He will make an excellent all round riding horse for someone - as he will hunt, produce a nice dressage test, pop round a cross country course and cruise round a course of show jumps and also hack out for hours.
His grandsire is VOLTAIRE - so he has excellent breeding.
Hero is a special horse and we would love for him to have a special home where he can be well looked after, and where he can become someone's best friend as he has so much to offer.
