Potential broodmare with excellent breeding offered for sale or lease. Bred in the UK at Stretton Hall Stud.
Daim is by Grand Prix stallion Danone I. As well as being a successful competition horse Danone is also a successful sire. His most famous offspring is the Swedish Olympic team horse Dante Weltino. Danone is by De Niro, who when he passed away in 2017 was the number one Grand Prix dressage horse producer.
Daim also has an amazing damline. She is out of the super mare Wiegro who was graded elite, preferent, sport with the KWPN. Wiegro competed up to Z2 level (advanced medium) and is also the dam of 2 licensed stallions - Chapter Leatherdale who used to stand at Van Olst in The Netherlands and King Leatherdale SHS.
Daim's grandsire is Negro, sire of Olympic gold medallist Valegro.
Unfortunately Daim suffered a field injury when she was 18 months old. She is field sound, but I'm not sure she would stand up to a ridden career hence being offered as a broodmare. Full details of the injury can be provided.
