Ludo is a stunning 5-year-old gelding with a brilliant brain. He’s incredibly mature for his age and made BYEAH at Badminton feel easy. He has an exceptional jump, is very careful, and is naturally brave across country without overjumping — he just gets on with the job and really enjoys it.

Despite his ability, Ludo is also very level-headed and calm, making him suitable for a capable amateur. He’s lovely to ride, naturally uphill, sits in a soft outline, takes the leg well, and is nicely forward without being sharp.

He’d be a great contender for the 5-year-old class at Cornbury House this season — the dressage judges really like him and he’s more than capable of producing a top 10 score.

Ludo would also suit pure showjumping — he’s very neat and careful, with a naturally balanced canter.

On the ground, he’s easy in every way. He’s quiet to handle, great to box, and happy to stand alone when another horse is taken away. He’s sweet, affectionate, and genuinely lovely to have around.

He has no vices, and is straight, correct, and ready to go on.
