I am looking for a new horse to live with my daughter’s retired ponies and my youngsters at home in North Devon.
The horse I’m looking for must be experienced, it will be used for local hacking on busy country lanes, nannying my youngsters, occasional lessons, fun rides, beach rides, horse holidays and taking rides out on Exmoor, so it must be a sensible lead horse type that is level headed, happy to hack alone, does not hot up in company, forward going and good in traffic and around livestock, easy to load on my own and happy travelling. 14.3 - 16.2hh and not too wide (as I find this uncomfortable). 8yrs - 15yrs happy to loan if older.
I’m 56 yrs old 5’5 and 10.5 stone ish, my horses are a huge part of my life they live at home, I have turnout with field shelters, barn with internal stables and use of an arena, so fully adaptable to meet the needs of individuals.
I travel my horses in a 4.5 horsebox.
I have a good budget for the right horse or loan with BHS agreement, if you have anything that is suitable please get in touch.
