This super little horse has a great brain and superb temperament. A sane and sensible outlook to life with a willing and genuine attitude to everything that’s been asked of him he’s the type who will turn his hoof to any job.

Chester is a 15.2hh 4yr old chestnut class 1 Irish draught gelding. Lovely breeding by the sire Mountain Diamond(grandsire welcome diamond) out of the dam Fleur Luna. Superbly conformed with clean legs and great feet, a really versatile stamp with a leg in each corner who will go on the excel in any sphere whether that’s dressage,eventing or everything inbetween.

This lovely horse has been lightly educated in all spheres with lots of variety to show him the world whilst not being rushed/pushed,his longevity and age being of the upmost importance.

Chester has been to multiple area hires, xc schooling, unaffiliated dressage and has completed his first one day event where he was placed 10th. He has proven at all times to be very willing, genuine and to have a sensible attitude to everything that has been asked of him.

He has three rhythmical super paces and works correctly and consistently on the flat. He is light in the hand and works well from the aids without being sharp. Has the most superb canter which is extremely balanced and adjustable, there is so much to like about this horse and he is extremely trainable between the boards. Scored 70% in his latest test with lovely comments about future potential and ability to move up the levels as he progresses and continues his education.

Chester really enjoys his jumping and has been jumping a variety of fences/courses both showjumping and cross country gaining valuable milage and education along the way, always tries to please and has proven to be genuine with a super attitude towards his work. He has a super jump, great technique and has lots of scope and ability to go up through the levels. Taken to water, ditches, steps ect literally like a duck to water!

He doesn’t need daily work to keep him sane, does everything in a snaffle, no quirks or vices and is a lovely genuine horse who has been correctly started and educated. Hacks alone and in company and has been great with all the traffic we have come across. Been ridden in open spaces with other horses and warm ups. Lives in or out either alone or with company.

A joy to have on the yard and loves people, enjoys being fussed and is handled daily by my non horsey other half who turns him in and out without issue. Good to box(trailer/lorry),shoe,clip and catch.

This absolute star will excel in any sphere, huge potential for grassroots eventing, affiliated dressage or just being an allrounder/ridning club to have lots of fun. He is ready to go out this summer to continue his education and start the next chapter with his new jockey.
