Roo is the perfect combination of talented dressage performer + safe, loveable hacking companion. She is easy to do in every way, not mare-ish and loves her cuddles and attention.

3 very wholesome and consistent paces, a beautiful uphill canter with great variations. Pirouette canter offered on corners, counter-canter balanced and has started work on changes. A trot that has gears and expression and is open to being produced further. Walk oversteps demonstrating relaxation and freedom.

Owned, educated and competed by a 65yr old lady, within a team of horses competing up to Grand Prix.

Roo’s recent education has been highly dressage focused, so ideally we are looking for a competent dressage home with a capable younger rider or a small adult. Whilst we have her out competing at medium (winning her class today), she could take an ambitious rider from Prelim up through the levels swiftly and easily, giving confidence as she goes.

Her history is known and local to us in Devon; she belonged to our farrier, who didn’t have a job for her, so over the past 6 months with us, she has gained a new career and is flourishing. We love our Roo, she’s our ickle pony woo woo, so the right home is very important to us. In the meantime, she’ll continue to be schooled or hacked every day, loaded with our big boys and girls and taken out wherever we go.
