Meet Habana, an utterly stunning 16.1hh 8-year-old German Sport Horse mare who is the true definition of a once-in-a-lifetime horse. Owned and adored by my daughter since she was 16, Habana is the complete package – talent, temperament, and looks – and she turns heads wherever she goes.
With a heart of gold and an attitude to match, Habana is beautifully mannered in every way. She’s handled confidently by all members of the family and is the kindest, most willing partner you could hope for – a real pleaser with a wonderfully genuine nature.
Her movement is exceptional – more than good enough for pure dressage, whether for an ambitious amateur or a professional. Equally, she shines in the showjumping ring, currently confidently schooling at 1.20m with scope for more. Habana has also had a solid eventing career, competing successfully at BE Novice and currently at 100, showing her versatility and bravery across all three phases.
Habana would suit a competitive teen, ambitious amateur, or even a professional looking to produce a top-class horse up the levels. She is talented enough to go all the way, yet kind and rideable enough for someone still gaining experience.
This is a very reluctant sale. Habana is simply not getting the time and focus she deserves as one of several horses in our yard. She thrives with one-on-one attention and deserves to be someone’s number one.
