Merrie is a very modern athletic 6yo Mare by Poker De Mariposa x Contendro I x Indoctro. She has had a slow and correct start to life with her future in mind with plenty of holidays to mature and grow. She was purchased as a 3yo and has been in the same yard ever since.

Merrie really is a dream to own with her being so easy to deal with both at home and equally away at shows where she is just un-phased by anything that comes her way.

She has an unbelievable amount of scope and a good technique over a fence and at just 6 years old she is proving to be a very nice horse with her gaining her Newcomers and Foxhunter clears which is expected of only the best young horses at this age.

Merrie has the maturity of a horse twice her age when it comes to doing new training exercises and she never takes offence or does anything naughty when things don’t go her way, she simply just puts her head down and gets on with the job.

She is incredibly bold and brave and not the kind of horse that needs an arena hire every week to keep them on the straight and narrow, she will canter to the biggest of fences or open water trays with no questions asked. She has plenty of blood and desire to leave the fences up.

Merrie loves hacking and she will happily go out for hours on her own or in company. We believe that she would be an absolute superstar for a good amateur that likes a forward going safe competition horse.
