Cara is a very well bred Irish draught mare. She is for sale due to no fault of her own, only that we have too many horses and she is being wasted at the moment. She still has many good years left to bring someone a lot of fun.

Cara is a jumping machine and has always been very clean over a fence. She was ridden by a young girl at the beginning of her career and went on to hunt for a large part of her life by an older man in his 60’s. She will get you safely over drains, hedges, etc. You can jump off and get back on no bother she will stand. She can do gates no need to get off. She is a point and go type of mare and loves to jump! Cara will hack alone or in company but really enjoys the companionship of other horses. She loves to hack through the woods and go for a gallop in the fields. Cara loads and travels well, and you can clip and shoe her with no head collar.

She has never needed a vet and has been sound the whole time we have had her. Cara has developed some melanoma on her tail and bum as is expected in any older grey horse. This does not affect her riding but is reflected in her price. Videos available on wattsapp +447860175723
