Blake is looking for someone that can offer him a forever long term home only, absolutely not dealers or someone looking to bring in!! He is at this price to give someone on a smaller budget the opportunity to have a quality horse at a low price.

Blake is looking for a someone that can offer him a forever long term home only!!

We are looking for someone who will take their time and produce Blake kindly and sympathetically.

Full honest story, Blake was bought from me the breeder as a two year-old, and although he has had fantastic handling, he has moved yards with his previous owner in his short period of life so many times at least 15, all down to financial and home issues.

This was also because he was kept as a stallion until he was five, so was only cut last September.

This is why it must be a home where he’s going to be staying.

Blake was backed at three, turned away and brought back in as a four-year-old doing some schooling, show and being young has proven to be quirky at times, I feel some of the quirks is through lack of settlement within himself and of course being young and not having a consistent rider.

Unfortunately, due to financial issues, Blake was going to be passed on with not much care as to where he was going so he was bought to give him time to settle at my yard where we have the time to make sure he has the right home for him.

Blake has now had time to settle. He has had his back checked by Helen Tompkins. He has been scoped to make sure he had no ulcers and he was clear. He has also had infrared body scans which were all good and clear and he has had his teeth done. This was done to make sure that he was happy and comfortable within his body.

We are hoping to find somebody that can offer him the best home, that perhaps is on a smaller budget to purchase something, we haven’t restarted his ridden work, as we would like somebody to start again with trust and a good relationship. He has been showjumping and XC and can work lovely in the school.

He is a talented quality young horse that just wants a loving home, where he can be himself, he is so kind and gentle to handle, we feel a quieter yard or a Home yard is best for him. Being only cut in September, when he says hello to other horses he does like to squeal and raise his front leg, he has been out with two Geldings for turn out.

Blake is good to catch, Farrier, clipping I believe as well, we haven’t loaded him, however believe this is ok too just thinks sometimes.
