Three beautiful paces with a trot to die for. Has competed unaffiliated dressage with scores up to and above 70% and always catches the judges eye!
An absolute contender for grassroots! Double clear and 6th in his first ODE last year and clear in his first hunter trial. Recently went cross country schooling and happily jumped the whole 80 course and some of the 90. Again, current jockey holding him back - had planned to do another event recently but with the hard ground did not go ahead.
If showing is your thing then his beauty and movement are just what you need. Half brother has been to HOYs (showing is not my thing so haven’t really explored this further but would be very successful). He did go to equifest as his third show and was perfect in the stables, it was quite possibly the wettest show I’ve ever been to and came 6th in a very big class despite slipping and sliding around the ring. He also competed at a county show last year coming 4th with very positive comments from the judge and that with more weight he would have been further up the line.
Massive, scopey jump! This horse could be jumping some seriously big tracks and is super careful, hates knocking a fence. Been successfully competing at 80/85cm - it is the jockey holding him back, not the other way. He is light on his feet, very athletic and finds jumping so easy.
Hacks alone or in company and isn’t nappy at all if another horse wants to leave him etc. I can load him up on my own and meet friends to go hacking, load up and come home without fuss.
Good to load, travel, catch. I have clipped him and he was nervous but with patience he let me do it, without any sedation. I think the more it happens he will realise it’s fine. Shod in front only - lives in or out.
Needs a home to give him a job, he is not a novice ride as big moving and forward. Ideally he needs to be with someone who wants a serious competition horse and who will continue to produce him in whichever discipline they choose - he really could do any!
