Ruby is a sweet, sassy, and seriously eye-catching Fell X Warmblood pony with heaps of potential! Ruby has three lovely, flashy paces, works nicely on the flat, and is an absolute jumping machine.

Previously competed unaffiliated up to 90cm with ease and jumped up to 1.30m for fun at home. She has the scope to make a super BS or BE pony with the right rider.

She’s done it all — XC, SJ, dressage, showing, hunting, Pony Club, camps — this pony doesn’t say no to much!

Ruby hacks brilliantly alone or in company, is bold and brave, and not fazed by traffic in the slightest.

Now for the important part:

Ruby is not suitable for a novice. She would suit a capable, confident or aspiring teen, or a small adult looking for a talented, fun partner.

She is a strong, forward-going ride when jumping, who thrives with a job and needs a confident, capable jockey to bring out her best.

Her schooling has room for improvement — she’s got a solid foundation with three established paces, and with work, she would produce an excellent test. She’d make a great project for someone willing to put in the time.

On the ground, Ruby is opinionated and can be strong — she needs a calm, firm handler who won’t let her get away with things.

That said, she’s good as gold with the vet, dentist, farrier, physio, clipping, grooming, and travels brilliantly.

Extremely sad sale of a much-loved pony — only for sale as my son is a nervous rider and Ruby is too forward and strong for him when jumping.

Up to date with immunizations and teeth. Open to trainer and vetting.
