Honest advert! 16.1h 6yro chestnut gelding. Very flashy type. By Simba out of a Maltstriker dam. Has competed up to 1.10m double clear affiliated showjumping in Ireland with the scope to move further up the levels. Has also competed at unaffiliated one day events. He is very neat and doesn’t want to hit a fence, but wouldn’t be the easiest ride. Never nasty but he prefers not be be interfered with and will throw his head up before or after a fence. Will go off any stride and is not a stopper.

Has been cross country schooling and was very brave. Moves very well and can school nicely, however he can sometimes take an odd short step behind in walk when ridden, so would need more schooling to learn to relax before he could produce a competitive dressage test. He is completely sound ridden in trot and he is completely sound when walked and trotted in hand. He has been checked by the vet and physio with neither finding anything physically wrong. May be better suited as a show-jumper than an eventer because of this.

Hacks out alone and in company around the roads. Very easy horse to handle and do in all ways (shoe, travel, load, catch etc). No stable vices.

Had a few flat sarcoids when he arrived which have been treated successfully with Liverpool cream and are currently dead scabs which are falling off nicely. No other lumps or bumps.

Would suit someone looking for a trade horse to produce on or could suit a good amateur rider who wants a real jumper but is on a limited budget.

Price doesn’t reflect the true value of this horse but a quick sale is needed due to personal commitments.
