Bert is a 6yo, 16.2 gelding. Exciting horse for the future, bred for the top of the sport - his sire is now competing at 3* level with Belgian rider Jarno Verwimp and looks set to be top class - by Vigo D’Arsouilles who needs no introduction.

His dam is by the Grand Prix stallion Rhodium (Ferro), and jumped to 1.30 and evened to 2* herself before retiring to stud.
Her own brother Windsor reached PSG level and is a graded stallion with KWPN.

Moves incredibly, huge uphill action and athletic, scopey jump.
He is very straight and correct with a good brain and excellent attitude. He has been schooling round 1.10/1.20 at home and showing a lot of ability.

Low mileage for his age due to no fault of his own, has been to training shows/arena hires and xc schooling. Would do a lovely test as he is now and will be very smart on the flat with more education.

Brave into a fence and careful, forward going type but never strong and always snaffle mouthed.

Requires a capable, quiet jockey as can be sharp off your leg and is green but never does anything he shouldn’t. Doesn’t buck, rear, nap etc and very straight into a fence, happy to go off any stride and clever on his feet. Very genuine horse with a very bright future.

Totally unspoilt and with the right person he will be a very very smart horse.

Easy to do, loads and travels in trailer or wagon and will stand quietly on the box at shows.

Open to vet and recently passed a 5 stage vetting (I don’t have copies of x rays unfortunately).
Super model. Clean limbed, very correct horse. No vices
