Didi is a 14.1 to 14.2 Belgische RIJ Pony that is 12 years old. She is a grey with a hint of flea-bitten spots in places.
She is easy to hack alone or in company.(Prefers with friends). She is easy to catch and lead to and from places. She loads well most of the time and travels well. Didi is easy to lunge. Good with the farrier and clips well and easily.
Didi is good with children and doesn’t mind dogs if they keep out of the way. She is also good with scooters and bikes. She crosses main roads with care and doesn’t mind cars. She is a bit nervous around lorries and tractors but will pass them as long as you are patient.
Didi’s past experience in her home before me based around dressage and schoolwork. And now with me we do mostly show jumping but also with flatwork. We usually jump in between the height of 50 to 75cm but we have jumped up to 90cm before. She will jump over any coloured jumps and fillers as long as she is ridden with control. In summer me and Didi also do some cross country. She will jump everything, she doesn’t mind water. But I mainly focus on show jumping.
Didi is an amazing pony to learn on as she is so genuine. When jumping if I go to a jump on an angle she straightens out for me, when I land on the wrong leg she again help me out and either goes into trot so start back up on the right leg or will also do a flying change. She is forward with jumping as she loves it so much and is very collected with cantering between jumps whilst doing a course.
When I have lessons she is good by herself or in company with other horses. This also applies to her in the field as she will go alone or in company. (Prefers in company). She can be left outside all year round (with a warm rug in winter) or she can go in at nights and come out in the day. She is good to groom and wash. She doesn’t kick.
She has never had a foal we are only simply selling her I have simply outgrown her. I hope that she will go to a good home where she can keep doing what she loves.
