Donnalt Bonnie Lass is a super pony with a heart of gold. Breeding known. She has the foundations to excel in any discipline with a fabulous scopey jump, lovely paces and a real intelligence which sets her apart. Just the sweetest mare who wants to be loved and will offer a huge amount to the right rider to be really competitive.

Wonderful to handle and handled by my children since we’ve had her over the last two years. Done all PC activities including PC camp where the children have managed her independently. She would be really exciting for an ambitious child as she has real get up and go but safe. She is more of a third pony than second – so could also suit smaller older child/adult who wants to compete and have fun. She has lots of scope and comfortably jumps 90 at home. She is forward and enthusiastic but not strong or silly. Wants to please and jumps brilliantly with confident rider. With the right rider she will be very competitive at 80-90’s if not beyond.

We have laid the foundations but unfortunately our boys have turned to polo – and the one who still jumps has grown legs and arms that now dangle and so we have run out of time to take her to the next level. She has jumped up to 70 competitively - NESA and PC. XC schooled across a variety of jumps and is growing in confidence every time out. Jumps ditches, loves water. Has done beach rides, seen hounds.

She was bred for showing so has potential as a working hunter pony.

Is lovely to handle at home and away. Not spooky. Hacks alone and in company. Lunges. Lives out or in – with mares or geldings. Not a top mare type. Travels really well – trailer or lorry. Only vice is a bit tickly when clipped – so we lightly sedate and then no problem at all. Thrives on love and attention. Is one of those special ponies that you love within minutes and gives so much back.

So keen to find her a wonderful 5* home – and would consider loan to the right experience of rider in South who has the skill and experience to develop her further as at the moment we don’t have the time or the rider.
