Very handsome Cob X, 15.1, 5years old.

Chestnut 4 whites (virtual matching pairs fronts and backs) and a blaze

Currently on schooling livery with Alec Miles at Fair Oak, Hampshire

Benny is a charming young horse who is easy to do. He is polite in the stable, friendly and curious. He loves a good groom. He ties up well to be tacked up.

At the mounting block he was initially anxious but this has improved.

Benny is good with the vet, has passed recent 5 stage vetting which can be seen and is of course open to your own vet / any vetting. He has had regular worm counts and a clear strangles test.

At his vetting his teeth were done and he has regular physio without issue.

He is polite for the farrier and is currently shod all round.

Benny is confident with traffic and the heavy farm machinery.

In the school Benny is working well and improving everyday. However he is NOT a Novice ride due not only to his age. He is a potential competition horse, very forward, sensitive to the aids. Off the leg and light in the hand. When unsure he can spook therefore he needs a capable rider who will reassure and is quick to praise when he does the right thing.

Benny is a proven Hunter and I'm told he was always well-behaved. Polite with the hounds and other horses, stood quietly when asked at the meet and in the field. He was bold and jumped everything without question.

This is a very sad sale of a truly special little horse who has been the best start and will have a great future ahead of him. Wherever he goes in whatever discipline he's sure to have a bright future. Genuine reason for sale.
