16.1hh 11yo traditional Irish sports horse.
Reluctant sale due to clients 13yo daughter giving up. Trudy is an old fashioned typed Irish sports horse with plenty of bone and a solid temperament to match. Trudy is a true allrounder… she has primarily hunted (mainly in Ireland ) but has show jumped and is a nice allrounder.

Trudy is a very straightforward ride. She is responsive, nicely forward and has smooth transitions. Trudy schools nicely on the flat… but as she was primarily hunted, we are working on a consistent contact and teaching her lateral work but she is light in the hands and not strong. She is very clever and every ride, she is becoming better. Trudy is currently being ridden by a 13yo. Doesn’t buck, rear, bolt etc.

Trudy is a point and shoot jumper. Very brave and takes you to a fence with confidence. She really enjoys her jumping and gives you a great feel over a fence and out in the country. She has been to arena hires and clear rounds.

Trudy hacks out alone and in company. Good in traffic, open fields etc and not a typical spooky type.

Trudy is good to handle, load, lunge etc.

I feel Trudy will excel eventing or back on the hunt field as she loves to jump and work. Equally she would suit an allrounder RC home or hacking home. She will excel with a confident rider wanting to have some fun with an easy horse. She’s a real beautiful soul and a pleasure to have on the yard. Best homes only apply.
